I've got a somewhat irrational phobia of bees and wasps and your videos are actually helping me get over it quite a lot. Between seeing how they react to their nest being attacked and your very insightful teaching about them that is more in-depth than anything about insects I ever learned in school, it's helped me to not just freak out anytime something small and yellow flies near me. Thank you for taking the time to record and post these videos of your work!

Much respect to you sir. You make it look easy. Today I was in a bee suit in my attic removing mud dauber nests. It’s hard enough to move around in an attic especially with a shop vac. Not to mention you’re sweating your butt off for hours. I really don’t need the suit because it was 50 degrees today but I am a chicken.

I am amazed by your increasing linguistic skills! After watching you become fluent in chicken and turkey, your vocabulary has expanded to include emu and rhea. Are there accent differences between the chicken breeds to contend with, too? Of course your squirrelease is nothing to slouch at either.

We all know the larvae will be put into deep freeze for the start of your new army come spring Mr. Pain!
I remember as a kid, our family camper, which we used like once a year, always wound up with a wasp or YJ nest. Heck, I have one now that I haven't used in three years and check it constantly for nests. They love pop up campers for some reason.

THANK YOU for cleaning up the ones that were dead prior to arrival. I've got very bad spheksophobia, and can't handle being around yellowjackets whatsoever. Even if they're dead there's a good chance it will send me into a panic attack. When I had an infestation at home previously the exterminator was kind enough to do that for me, because when I tried I just couldn't handle it. Thought I was gonna have to call a cleaner.

We live full time in our rv in the Poconos. In July there was an early stage yellow jacket nest in the inside cover of our propane tank. It hadn't been filled in months so it was the perfect place for the queen to start her nest. I'm happy we knocked out that nest before it grew to a much larger colony. Good thing the rv owners were able to have to take care of their nest. Great work as always!

@@HornetKingOfficial I agree! We all just need our own personal space :). Where I live, besides mainly paper wasps, the rare yellow jacket, and those neat solitary mind control wasps, we have three super cool miniature wasps. I think they're wasps anyway, their body type is exactly the same but they're a quarter (if not a bit smaller, about as long as a grain of rice)the size. They come in three types: standard black and yellow, iridescent green, and iridescent blue. It's a bit tricky because we have a fly that mimics the wasp. Anyway, I saw those minis eating wood, so they had to be making a nest. Interesting stuff.

But now I learned they are a lot more than that now, they are cool and just want to protect their nest. Interesting video! It’s amazing how much paper they make around parts of the area that have no comb! Beautiful kitties, it surprises me that they will eat the larvae :). Thanks for sharing and letting me tag along :)

I imagine the Hornet King's house having conversations like, "Where's the sour cream?" "It's in the refrigerator to the right of the yellow jacket nest."
