We need Elders like this to put us through. He's merciful to all and love all he creates. When he sent Jesus His only son to die for our sins. Its was for the the purpose of Mankind and the Universe at large. Jesus Christ means SALVATION which Means Mercy.
If you wake up this morning praise the LORD for his mercies is everlasting to everlasting. HALLALUYAH

💯. May I even add, they say that those who speak Yoruba fluently, (Nigerians) are more adept to Foreign languages, especially, Spanish.

I'm definitely for the mercy part. His mercy is more than enough for all of us multiplied over and again.

The song is very correct and it's a personal inspiration. God is selective when it comes to mercy - Romans 9:15 -16. Ki i se gbogbo eniyan lo ma nri aanu gba. Also read John 5: 1-9.

Even the Bible says He will have mercy on whom he’d have mercy on and have compassion on whom he’d have compassion on. I agree with your take

He will show mercy on whom, he wants to show mercy on.
It means we cannot question who ever he shows mercy to and He has showed his mercy to all.
He has decided to show this mercy to all and it cannot be questioned by anyone on the earth, above and beneath.
Jesus showing forth to redeem man kind is a mercy to everyone. Titus says the grace of God has appeared unto all men. He has shown mercy to all because we have all sinned and Christ did not died for some he died for all. Anyone not benefiting from this, is not a question of God not showing him/her mercy. It is an issue with the person not receiving it.
What did David understand before he used the word "Surely". David said Surely goodness and mercy will follow me.

But the word of God says he will show Mercy to who he will show Mercy so not everyone will be mercyful read exodus 33:18, and Romans 9:14-18

Pastor Nathaniel Bassey is not Yorùbá. He still meant "OJÚ Ọ̀RUN", just that his Non-Yoruba ascent cropped up, making it sand as "OJU ORUN".
Regarding the second observation, the book of Romans 9:15 says:
"For HE saith to Moses, I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM I WILL HAVE MERCY, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion."
I believe that the Composer of "Mo dúpẹ́ wípé mo rí Àánú gbà" must have been inspired by the above passage. Therefore, that message cannot outrightly be discarded.

In the new testament we all have received mercy but it is up to us to accept it or not

  • @opeoluwasabainah6532

The bible says i will have mercy on whom i will have mercy. The evil someone scale through has actually swallowed someone else. That is the bases of the song. We did not all received same privileged and level of mercy. ....kii se gbogbo eniyan lo n ri anu gba. My understanding though.

Not according to the new testament

I don't support that aspect of mercy.
God said He will have mercy on who He will have mercy, so there is implications.

You are right Brother, but that was just his own opinion based on his point of view. Everyone alive at one point or the other has enjoyed the Mercy of God, but level of Mercy differs. Thank you for your thought Brother...

God he's Merciful to all... Can I ask you a question? If you are alive he's merciful to you. David in psalm said All things that has breath Praise the Lord... Bro your mindset na Nija mindset to you mercy na when you get material things lol...
He loves all he create equally.

According to the new testament we are given equal mercy and grace, the extent you see it, is depending on how you much you know and utilise yours
