They are definitely not tears of a fool. It takes a very intelligent person to feel their emotions and express them. Holding things in hurts everyone. You feel how you feel. You never have to justify your emotions. I’m also a divorced individual. It hurts like no other when someone you expect to spend the rest of your life with leaves. But you will find the right one. Heard this song occasionally growing up, never thought much of it. It was a good song by a living legend. BUUUUT my sweetheart Michael Ray has burned this song in my heart now. He says he is amazed by me and how much we love each other. He is big brother to one my best friends. So growing up, even as a little girl, I've always seen him a sweet amazing grown man with a girl under each arm before I ever even imagined to know what being a girlfriend even really meant! (I mean, besides holding hands at lunch. 🤣)

Unique ! Bands of today you must hate being so many years to late you will never be able to complete with this music never at least you can hope or except.
Ideas for Paul: "Maybe I'm Amazed II" w/Ringo on drums would be a great new release (!) with new lyrics, or at least returning the originals, like "Maybe" instead of all those revisions to "Baby" at 0:44 0:56 & 1:51. Best is still 1: 54 when you sing a high F. Even Pavarotti couldn't do it! But Ringo's synth rhythms from 2:06 to 2:30 are rubbish. I've got 1 more idea! At 2:24 revise the lyrics to "write me when I'm wrong." Ask Elton if he goes for it. Millions would love you & Ringo to make a part II. You could even re-title it "Baby I'm Amazed." We'd all love to hear a Version II...😉

My first marriage came at age 39, too (1989). Divorced after 7 MONTHS!! This second marriage (June 2013) is still going strong in 2018, and she just became an American yesterday (2/20/18)

I mean first of all, he is. Can’t blame him for knowing it. Second, he was joking anyways if you’re talking about the clip I’m thinking you are. When they asked him how he’s written so many great songs and he talked about his dad playing so much music around him when he was young, and then at the end said, “also I’m a genius.” He literally said it in the most joking voice ever, poking fun at how everybody else just assumes he’s a musical genius as if there’s nothing else beyond it lol.
Find one person with a more impressive musical resume than Paul. Like it literally can't be done. If he can't call himself a genius who can?
