DIY Dog Pool ramp above ground pool part 2

I designed a ramp, platform and floating pool ramp for our dog to safely get in and out of the pool. On this video I will show you the design.

I wonder if the rubber mat / ramp would work better if the pool noodles ran under the mat, instead of on top. It would hold the mat up, out of the pool. Great idea!!
