    I totally agreee with you. We are NOT in control of anything. God is in full control, the giver if life and the taker. I tortured myself being perfect and had a miscarriage anyways: the month I gave up and got drunk the most and didn’t care is when I got my big fat positive test!!!

It lays out the supplements that are right for your specific situation, and tells you which ones NOT to take. And only recommends the ones that have been proven through many good studies.

    I do think that our subconciousness does matter soo much. I had three miscarriages and after the third I realized that deep down I was not ready for a baby. I was still struggeling with my own stuff in life and would have "used" the baby for a quick fix to get out of a job I don't like. I am very empowered by this realization which makes the last miscarriage an eye opener for me. I also realized at one point that if a baby is something the universe has planned for me in this life, it will come. I just need to realize who I really am. A soul that makes a human experience on earth.

    This is the best miscarriage video yet. I am going through my first and I am not sure if I want to try again. I was looking for gentle exercises to do during a miscarriage and came across this video and decided to give it a try. I don't blame myself for anything (at least not yet) and it breaks my heart knowing that so many women second-guess everything they did before and during pregnancy. I was always anxious during my pregnancy because I couldn't control the outcome. I did everything right, the supplements, no caffeine, a super healthy diet and ended up finding out I had an anembrionic pregnancy. If I ever decide to try and get pregnant again and miscarry again I will definitely seek medical advice, but this has definitely been an eye opener in terms of surrender and letting go of control.
    I am so sorry for all your losses. 💛

      I just had my first appointment and he said I'm 5weeks based off my last period but it didn't feel like a real period so I feel like I need an ultrasound. This video is helpful for bad news to me too. It's crazy how Dr's just tell you the same thing you know yourself and now I'm waiting for an ultrasound. This is my first baby and I haven't had miscarriages but my friend miscarried at 3months so I'm stressed and just wanna know exactly how far along I am. I'm waiting for insurance to approve it but I'm in a mom app and I posted about this and the ladies just say "well the Dr can't do anything until 8 weeks the ultrasound won't really tell you much and you should just go based off last period" but I think I'm farther along. I couldn't imagine back in the days before ultrasounds this waiting is driving me nuts

    It's not any women's fault. There are things that the doctors could have told me to try to reduce the chances, but not many doctors recommend it. I had a threatening miscarriage and my doctor actually told be that he did not believe my pregnancy was viable or going to be viable due to consistent spotting/bleeding. I did my research and found that progesterone helped a lot of women experience this, so I begged my doctor to put me on progesterone suppositories. He reluctantly prescribed it for me, and the moment I started taking it, my bleeding stopped (I switched doctors after), and now I have a bounce baby girl.
    If I didn't follow my gut and advocated for myself I would not have my baby right now.
    Even though it may hurt right now, knowing that you tried everything you could and what the doctors recommended should give you a feeling of peace to know that there was nothing else you could have done to prevent the miscarriage, and none of it is your fault.

      I have asked an ER doctor and an OB to please put me on progesterone and they refuse. Dr said “I can’t put you on progesterone because idk where your pregnancy is and if it’s ectopic it will not be good”
      I’ve told my OB who has seen me through my last 2 MCs and she hasn’t done anything, I’m now on my 4th pregnancy and my HCG levels are so low. I just want a dr to understand that I want to give this baby a chance and finally have a full term pregnancy

  • @TeaCup1940

    Not drinking any alcohol during and before pregnancy is something every pregnant woman should do! All the other stuff is not causing or able to prevent miscarriage. There is obviously something wrong, or the babies would not all die in the womb, but the father and the mother needs to investigate what is going on with the female and male genetic material.
    That anyone needs to tell that to adult people to consult a doctor is really shocking. This is the logical thing to do!

    • @KelliMiguez
      @KelliMiguez  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I worried about this at first. But really, I think this ends up being just one more thing that we use to blame ourselves for the miscarriages. The reality is:
      1. I am a member of many miscarriage support groups where there are just as many women asking if being overweight could have caused their miscarriage as women who worry their workouts caused their miscarriage.
      2. This is only antidotal but with my first pregnancy, which was my only pregnancy that resulted in a live birth...I was very underweight. I was working out hard-core before finding out I was pregnant and through the whole thing my dr was warning me I needed to gain more weight. Of course that is the only pregnancy that actually worked. 🤷‍♀️
      3. Studies just haven't proven exercise to be a detriment during pregnancy. Even strenuous exercise. If you want to be infuriated, just search youtube to see how many women are powerlifting or running marathons during pregnancy.
      I think this all points to there being something else at play in our recurrent miscarriages. Something outside our control and most importantly, not our fault. 💖

    • @KelliMiguez
      @KelliMiguez  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'm sorry @Zeyna. I hate how this messes with our brain and makes us question everything we do. For what it's worth... My most recent pregnancy I was on bed rest from the time of transfer until I confirmed miscarriage, and even with bed rest it didn't save the pregnancy 😔. This leads me to believe we each have to do whatever makes us feel the best. If working out relaxes you, then it's probably best to keep training. But if it causes anxiety, then maybe try a cycle where you go easy and see if that feels better. Best of luck to you 💖

      Yes, this is sadly so true. Keep trying to find a Dr that will help. 95% of OBs and REs don't know how to treat recurrent miscarriages. If you haven't read Dr. Beer's book "Is your body baby friendly?" I highly recommend it. It helped me so much and he addresses those 2 issues. Best of luck to you💗

      @@KelliMiguez welcome because I always thought when woman have miscarriage I thought it was our fault I don't have a kid yet and I was scared my husband to be wanted to get me pregnant. Miscarriage ran in my family but now I understand it wasn't the woman but there partner. My fiance is pretty healthy so I wouldn't be concerned about the miscarriage anymore. I'm greatful for your video you took my fears away. The power of knowledge. And no don't thank me. I thank you

    There are other factors that could lead to miscarriage. But, for the record, other pregnant fish have been observed eating sperm. The black widow and praying mantis actually sometimes eat their male mates, with the female praying mantis being fond of the male praying mantis' brain. A praying mantis bites into her mates head like an apple and cleans her face like a cat.
    Few people know there are some octopus that possess bioluminescent suction cups. I am actually curious if they could mimic "lights" along their skin to communicate with each other in strange patterns. Female octopi will even attempt to devour their mate after copulation. Female fireflies tend to give strange bioluminescent signals to devour male fireflies. And all these male cannibalisms seem to greatly reduce the chances of miscarriages. So it is not uncommon to see practices like this in the animal kingdom.
    And we all know fellatio is a rescue for expecting parents who cannot enjoy intercourse due to full-term pregnancy. I suspect this was an ancient practice long forgotten that was known to keep the amniotic babies strong. This may even account for her "strange food cravings" when pregnant. He could even drink pineapple juice to make it taste better.
    Pregnant women like performing fellatio on their man in the same way that babies love suckling on their mother's breast for comfort and nourishment. And I suspect that women who have a tragic tendency to miscarry their amniotic babies will be blessed and be able to carry them safely to childbirth when they do this.
    As God said way back then, "Be fruitful & multiply."

      50% of infertility and miscarriages are because of male factors. She’s right in that men also play a part in embryo and fetal viability and health. That’s not “blaming men”

      Shes not blaming men... she's pointing out it isn't just the woman's egg that can be a factor in a miscarriage. Men also need to live a healthy lifestyle.
