Really great to see your Rebel back on the trail. Glad the repairs got done relatively quickly. Always a pleasure watching your relaxing trips, well done Edward.
The older I get the less I like the cold. But I do have to say, I love the colors of winter. There's a peaceful solitude looking at the beauty of winter woods. Great video.
I'm just the opposite. Older I get the more I hate the heat. Seems like it's getting hotter and longer and just so tired of 100 degree days. For some reason the cold, lack of crazy people and no bugs and winter camping is fulfilling. With the right gear and heater and you will enjoy it more.
This is what i live for, i wheel my ram as well. 35 mud tires sliders tube front bumper i made with 12 k winch on it. Ive done signal peak trail, sour grass trail and love wheeling in the snow. Going snow wheeling in truckke next weekend with my son. Subscribed
Majestic views, a cozy campsite, a good meal and memories made with a friend. Thanks for taking us along , the trucks looked Great going through the snow and your set-ups looked good. Enjoyed trekking the woods with you guys. 😍🌟👊
You're absolutely right out in the woods and in the snow not a better night's sleep. Well in the military I was trained at Camp hail and learned a lot of mountaineering and sleeping in the snow. But it was always peaceful and relaxing, but the skiing was the most fun
@@KrokemOutdoors well I’m sure you get this all the time but if you ever come to Pittsburgh let me know my buddies and I can show you some nice spots in the mountains and forests. Stay safe my friend!
I used electric blanket, too! 전기장판 is the best. I use the shawl version used over the shoulder to put 'into' my sleeping bag. It's small enough. There are seat heaters that might be more camper friendly sizes & takes less energy. Or When I don't have jackery, 2 electric hand warmers that last more than 8 hours inside the spring bag helps too. One by the foot. One by the stomach. 😊
Butane sucks in winter. I have to keep the bottles in the truck or they will not work. Propane is much better in cold weather. I carry both as stores can be out of either or both.
Great video and sick Tundra build, but can tell you city boys were really roughing it parking beside the washroom. You almost had us fooled, boys, 😅! Safe travels, eh!
Great video . . . ! The part I liked the most was the minute 5:29 and then I see that steak and automatically became my favorite part of the video minute 6:12 and then tacos . . . Good Lord 😅😅 . . . Ok let me go back and enjoy the over-landing video
In the left corner, we have the ferocious Ribeye Steak at 250 lbs wearing red, and in the right corner, we have Turkey Taco, wearing rust brown, weighing in at a wimpy 100 lbs. There's the bell, and the two opponents are going at it. Turkey flaps its wings, but misses, and Ribeye counters with a heavy uppercut, lifting Turkey off its feet! Ladies and gentlemen, the game is over! It's a clean KO after only 5 seconds in the first round! Ribeye remains undefeated after a 1,000 year career and millions of hours in the ring!
I have a checklist on my phone that I go through repeatedly before I leave the house, and I jot down random things that pop into my head so I don't forget them on the day of. Also, this footage looks ridiculously good dude.
Edward, I think you have forgotten something every time I've camped with you. I use Google Keep to make lists. Once a list is made, it's really easy to make copies and modify them for any particular trip. As long as I have access to Google, I can log in to Keep from any device, computer, etc and modify my lists. Having it on my phone allows me to update a list immediately while something is fresh on my mind. You can even share Google Keep lists with others. I can't say that I've ever forgotten anything, as I usually have backups to my setup. And in many cases, backups to my backups.
That was a great video. I really enjoy the scenery seem like a beautiful place. I can’t wait to see the video on Ian Rigg. By the way if you don’t mind can you make a video on the type of firearm you bring with you and the caliber thanks
Hey Frantz, thank you for watching the video! Due to some TH-cam restrictions, I don't put any firearm content out (for the time being), but for the woods I'll IWB carry a sig 365xl (9mm), and also carry a Springfield XDM 10mm , just in case.
Beautiful campsite, good looking rigs, what more is there? Nice video, making me look forward to my five day solo trip with my 2016 4runner trail, can't wait.
Bro I'm from Melbourne and loving his Tundra! And that Mits Alloy I'm 100% was shipped to him from Australia am I right? I just really wish toyota brings Tacoma and Tundras down under!
I gotta know- how did you get the panning drive-by shots? When you guys were both driving by and the camera almost did a 180° turn. Was it a low hanging drone shot, remote gimbal or motorized tripod head? Looked very clean!
Hay Edward any plans on going to ALVORD in 2023 if so would love to tag along. Have three of us so far that plan on making the trip summer of 2023. Working on starting are own little community. Anyone is welcome to tag along
In Australia they are called a Ute, pronounced yoot, short for utility vehicle 😀
Asparagus cooked in butter mixed with some chili oil after you take it off!! 🔥🔥🔥 nice work.

Thank you Chris!
Nice to see a full size truck with KM3s in deep snow! I run KM3s on my full size and this will be my first winter in them. Thanks Edward!

Looking forward to that walk around vid!
A lot to share on that video !
I don't have to go camping to forget it usually happens to me when I walk into another room and can't remember why or what I was getting
Happens to me all the time as well lol
👍thanks for sharing this video. Awesome trip.
You need the big Mexican tiger blanket. You won’t need a heater or heated blanket 😂
Amazing views. Thanks for sharing😊
Always I mean always warm up the tortilla/flat bread if you can it makes a big difference. I can’t wait to go camping my self great video 👌🏻 ❤
Getting ready to head to California snow great video to keep in mind :)..Be safe my friend
So pumped for winter camping!!!
Bro, we need to schedule a trip #2!

I do the same setup for solo winter camping. Tossing around the idea for a diesel heater if I bring the fam along. Ian's Tundra turned out sick!
Appreciate that 🤘🏼
I'll be bringing the diesel heater for the Ram even on solo trips. Those things are a game changer!

I just picked up a retrax pro and the truss rack! Can’t wait to finish my build and take it out

Get yourself a 12v heating blanket. Much more energy efficient when used with a Jackery or any other power station.
Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into the 12v powered ones! (I'll be needing a power efficient one for the longer trips I have planned)

The bedazzled tundra pretty sick.

How was the power draw on the Jackery from the heated blanket??

🥶 great snow camping video. 👏 good to seem shadow back out.
Thanks Jordan, it was nice getting Shadow back out into the woods, especially with snow
The best snow tire's I've used are very narrow and we never aired down?? It doesn't seem good to float thru the snow ??
What brand/type of grill plate is used at 6:15 ?
