Very nice video, beautiful mountain range, so much of greenery, wonderful train sounds, it was truly fun to watch. I did see the waterfalls, i think you were on the right side. Next time please make longer videos. Thanks.
What do you want...a longer video..its already 31mins...so basically he should never sit in the train...whenever he does a train journey...he should stand in d door with camera day & night... Its an amazing video which covers everything from my point of view...well done brother!!!
I am happy that you covered Konkan Railway on which I travel frequently. This tunnel has vertical ventilators to let the smoke go out. If they were not there, this tunnel would have become a gas chamber.. but it is avoided by keeping the ventilators
This used to be a metre gauge route earlier, I guess around mid-nineties...I remember travelling on this route as a kid..you can still see the old metre gauge sleepers lying on the side...brings back memories...miss travelling by trains..good efforts on your part sir..appreciate the effort...
This is in my opinion one of the best videos I've seen in a long time... I only wish you'd made more train videos like this! It's like you ARE on the train feeling the journey when you're watching this... I love it when the train goes through the forest in low speed , it's so MAGICAL !!! Thanks for sharing this journey with us 👍🤗👍
I studied in Goa . . .was there for 7 years . . .must have visited Dudhsagar say 6 times in total . .twice from jeep . .2 times via rail.. . .rest by tracking . . a wonderful place . .one day affair . . if you are going to goa . .water fall will come on left side if going by rail . . .and vice versa . . .so many ways to enjoy dudhsagar water fall .. . .go by Indian Railway . . .there is a station Dudhsagar itself where passenger train stops . . or Castle Rock is the nearest station . . if you want to walk along the tracks and move to dudhsagar . .Down the water fall too it is a lovely place . . but the way to go there is different . . .be careful during monsoon season . . . .there have being tragic incidents especially during monsoon season . . .but be careful and Enjoy . . .a must go place if you are going to Goa . . .A FULL ONE DAY AFFAIR
Hatsoff brother...for coming up with such an amazing video...its not a joke to shoot such a train journey...on ghats & waterfall... Simply Brilliant!!!
Hi dear Devesh Ranjan, your camera beautifully caresses the bounty of mother nature in the most gentle manner. Please Post more videos of train travels.
It is felt that in this world India only is operating trains containing 23 bogies with one engine especially for passengers. Salute to Indian Railways personnel.
Great video mate. Doesn't matter whether you missed the falls or not. I for one, who is far away from India do appreciate the video as it captures the train through the Ghats. For me it's about the train more than the waterfall. The sound of the clickety clack of the wheels makes the video too. Well done and looking forward to seeing more videos from you. Cheers.
NIce... and here is my video of the same journey, taken in the 1980's: toronto canada HO model train collector on margao to londa rail, sanvordem to caranzol
hi friend, i am not keep quite after watching your goa train video , u did good job , i felt i was travelling in the train , what scenery of western ghats once again thanks
Yes, it is normal in India for trains to have 24 coaches. Obviously, the platforms are constructed to accommodate these trains. But you are right, there are some stations (very few) with no platforms or where platforms are not long enough. So passengers do have to get down trackside.
Dudhsagar falls is there in the video. Turn annotations on and u will get a link to the the time where dudhsagar falls come. And if u still didn't see it then it is probably because there was not much water in the fall at the time of shooting this video. If u want to see Dudhsagar falls in its full glory go see Chennai express. :)
Tell me one thing . The first 20 mins of the video the train in the same direction. Then how suddenly it changed its direction?? Did you stand on other side of train or what??
Those who want to save their time just go to 17:00 and those who want to enjoy the lovely sound and the feel of travelling in a train and the beautiful scenery just keep on watching it continuously .
In India and on Indian Railways this kind of thing apparently does not matter. To most people in India, the countryside and especially the areas alongside the railway lines are an extremely convenient and very large trash can.
That's what I said in the description. It is so beautiful that Konkan is no match for it. They just made tunnels for efficient movement. But here the train just hugs the mountains throughout. :)
its an excellent job, we have to appreciate all those engineers for this great creation, journey through Indian Railways is really glamorous.
Thanks .Fantastic coverage,
