This is not a story driven video, it's mostly artistic and choreography driven. There's symbolism in it as well, most obvious is the mirror scene--Normani is a gemini! She has many different versions of herself, hence so many various scenes (my interpretation). The music took me a few listens to get it, because it's very different from the sampled song I'm familiar with (One in a Million by Aaliyah). But it's such a dope track and I loved this reaction!

Her double Normani scene with mirrors was a reference to her zodiac, Gemini and her owning up to if you show her what you can do, she can return the favor. The song and video is cohesive and you’d have to know our culture to appreciate it in full. Ol boy on the left had it right when he was vibing, his dance was on point. This production is a 10 for me. I think this song sounds expensive, like the 90ish to 2000ish rnb, every detail of the music is very thoughtful , this song is rich. Its not all about catchy , sure it helps sell the music better but not all catchy music is artistic and rich💯
