You just wanted to typically glory hunt “Hinduistan” here. See many Indians take away from Pakistani arts and taken then showcase it as “Hindustani”/Punjabi/Asian. Tabla is a Percussion instrument of Persian origin. It’s said Sufi musician Amir Khusrau was a famous musician and he is believed to have invented the Tabla. Khusrau is credited for the invention of the sitar and tabla. He instructed to develop a more melodic percussion instrument that could accompany the new style of music called Khayal.
This gave an idea what can be the ultimate in Tabla playing. My heart- felt salute to Mr. TARI KHAN Sahaab and I am grateful to Ghazalki Badsha Mehedi Hassan for introducing us to this supremely versatile artiste!!!!
