keep the videos coming i think your fabrication skills are off the charts considering your lack of experience, you have serious skills, looking forward to the next one
Nothing wrong with having the occasional wobble, it's human nature and a good way to increase your skills and abillities. Nobodys first restoration will ever be perfect but that's what drives you on and keeps you motivated. keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Bud. 100%, This is why I want to be open and show it all in this series. People give off this image of knowing everything and being stable during these projects.
What I like about your channel is the transparency, you are open and honest about the build, with nothing hidden. For a self confessed amateur, your work ethic and ability would put some so called “professional “ restorers to shame. Keep up the good work, one step at a time 👍👍
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Darren. That is exactly what I want! Total transparency. So many channels start and want to give off this impression of knowing everything. I don't and am still sorting my head out from a breakdown. In posting this content and being honest, I hope it encourages someone else to take on a project they have alway's wanted to do but have been a little put off by.
Dont get dishearteed. Your doing a better job than alot of guys who do similar for a living! Your attention to detail & planning are what makes it. Your not init for the money. Keep it up your an inspiration
Thank you so so much for watching and for the comment Matthew. This comment mean's a lot! I am too hard on myself but it pushes me to do the best I can.
Today is catch up day for me and wanna say at this point what you have accomplished so far is amazing, you’re attention to detail is cock on and lovin the passion that is drivin the project! I’ve looked at a fair amount of ‘professional’ restorations and you’re nailing it mate! We all have wobbles but it’s how we all deal with them that gives us the motivation to continue. Keep up the great work bud!!
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Ian. So glad you are enjoying it and thank you for saying the about the attention to detail etc. I wanted to use this series to show a full resto process with the ups and downs and that we all go through them but talking about it all helps us massively.
We can tell the passion and want to do it perfectly but dont beat yourself up about it. It will be perfect with all its imperfections. Good going and keep sharing. Thanks
You are pushing wider than your comfort zone on a big project full of new challenges -So don’t forget how far you’ve come already buddy! Awesome channel, keep up the great work and enjoy the journey👌🏻
Thank you so much for watching and for the motivational comment Jay! I am a little hard on myself at times. If I can't do it perfectly as soon as I attempt it I am failing 😂
Been watching this one from the beginning. Its a big task to restore this car back to its former glory. What I have seen up to now is spot on . Fabricating panels and welding them in takes a lot of patience to get it right . Your wood working skills are showing through in your attention to detail. Looking forward to the next video. Regards Rich.
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Rich. It does seem that Joinery skills transfer over to metal quite well! Thank you for the kind words and support.
Keep up the good work, you're doing a great job. I'm a mechanic and just recently qualified in welding and fabrication and trust me your welding better than some people I know that's done it for years
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Leah. I have had this comment on my work compared to 'Pro's' a few times! Are some people really that bad?!
I think you made the right decision - it doesn’t have to be perfect! You’re still going to get the same enjoyment from driving it. It’s really impressive what you’re doing with it.
Your work so far has been commendable, you think everything through really well, and your welding skills have increased beyond measure, You have gone above and beyond thus far to try and follow the original patterns, and while I also get annoyed when my efforts don't match the pictures I have in my mind, you have nothing to be ashamed of, stop beating yourself up!
Thank you so much for watching and for the motivational comment Charles. I can be a little hard on myself but that is sometimes what is needed to push us to do our best.
More good work Dan! Don't say it isn't interesting, because it is! I'm up to this exact same stage with my Rocco too - crusty sills, rear chassis legs and bits of arch. I've done one side, just need to get the car in the air and start the other side. Watching your work is pretty inspiring. You need to stop putting yourself under pressure too. I too always aim for a perfection, and one of the reasons my car has taken so long is because i keep restarting bits after relearning how to do them properly. I can only imagine doing videos is even more pressure. Do your best but don't expect things beyond your capabilities. Nobody will hold it against you. I'm going back to watch ep15 again now for some more ideas!
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching Matt. Glad you are enjoying the series. Glad the content is inspiring, I have had a fair few messages and comments saying that I have inspired/pushed people to carry on with their builds that have hit a wall. I have alway's put pressure on myself as I find it helps me to do my best. May be a little too much some times! All the best with your resto bro.
dan it was an intresting video to say you dont know what you are doing your doing a fine job i dont think you realise how talented you are so keep up the welding and i look forward to the next instalment
Glad you sorted the gas Dan, it makes all the difference. I was a welder/ fabricator for 20 odd years and was no stranger to welding motors on axle stands, getting covered in crap and splatter! I used CO2 for years as I found it to be more forgiving if the metal wasn’t brilliantly clean and later moved onto 95/5. No point doing a job if you’re not satisfied with the outcome but take it from me you’re doing a stellar job mate👍🏻 get yourself a wax oil gun also especially you now you now where the traps are! And then get your welding bloke to let you have a play with TIG!
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching bud! The gas has made so so much difference! Actually enjoy welding now! I will be loading area's with wax as soon as it is painted! Want to get the bodywork done ASAP so I can get it into paint. We have spoken about TIG, I am putting it off as I can't afford to buy a welder yet 😂
I have a mig welder which I bought many years ago but not really used it. You have inspired me to fire it up and use it! Good tips about gas. Cheers. Love the channel and great project.
Awesome bud! Thank you so much for watching and for the comment. Glad you are enjoying it and that the video's have inspired you to fire the welder up!
Absolutely dont worry about stuff that will never be seen, as long as its all solid. We all know this car will be finished to a very high standard. Don't think you could of taken on a much bigger project than this...amazing job so far
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Ian. Yes I am slowly learning that leaving welds on panels that are inside sill's etc is better. Slowly learning it all with it! Trouble is I watch the pro's doing it on TH-cam and want to get it as good 😂 Hopefully the car will end up being finished to a decent standard. It is a little bigger project than I first thought!
Had more wobbles than I remember ..walked away for a while and did the same..good talk with yourself and get back in with a fresh head ..job always seems easier when you go back ..no Restoration is factory perfect cos the restorer puts his own stamp on it ..keep it up you got a lot to do but plenty of time to do it 👍👍👍
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching Eddie, Having a few hours away or even tidying/sorting the workshop and kit out seem's to help nicely! Yes, I have learnt now that getting it the same as the factory is near on impossible with the tools and skills I have.
Another great video Dan your doing really good mate don't let it get you down you will get there in the end.. If it gets to much for you have a break...... Tomorrow is always a better day.... Well done 👏👊😁
The pigeon has left the building!! All the joys of learning and I can well imagine the head games you were giving yourself, still you have to consider your experience and despite that the excellent job you are doing. More patting on the back than beating yourself up I’d say and as for those random downer moods they only get worse with age 😁 Your doing good pal Nice one Dan
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Rhodri. He certainly isn't in here as much has he has been! Yes many head games with it all! You have to think so many steps ahead of yourself!
Do look forward to your uploads im in cov. Build bikes and into my audis. I've followed your man as I spotted the the bike in the background. TH-cam is my TV so its nice to see someone on the same level from the same side of the street.
Dan , I must say you are doing a better job than the thumbs down you are getting. Your explanation on how your going to do things is perfectly plain. The gas change has made your confidence better and your always going to hit a hurdle ( what am I doing with this car) your a sound guy who is giving very good content. You may think some content is better than others , but it's going to be like that , great channel , your doing really well. Jakey , better known as Andy , jakey (Jack) was my late Dad. He would of loved watching your vids. (Brilliant)
Hi Andy, Yeah I don't get the thumbs down either. It appears that the last few video's have had the same amount of dislikes... Maybe they are the sam people 🤷♂️ They do say you know you have made it when you have haters 😂 So glad you are enjoying the content bud. Thank you for the amazing comment bud.
Some more nice little bits of fabrication there, Dan. Don’t beat yourself up about what you’re doing. Going from the T5 to this is a HUGE step and you’ve already demonstrated how your skills are improving with every new bit you tackle. Thing is, even the bits no can see aren’t being bodged; you’re making them all look great. Sensible for you to say, it’s not going to be factory perfect, but every bit you repair is unique and done by you. I can’t think of anything other, than you should be really proud and happy with what you’ve achieved so far. Keep it up, bud; you’re going from strength to strength. Shame about the Porsche....😂😜
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching bud! I have alway's been hard on myself with work etc to push me to do the best that I can do. I have learnt so much and am learning more every time I do something! Really really enjoying the process though. So glad you are enjoying watching and thank you for the amazing comment.
Keep up the good work Dan!! Every little bit you complete is another step to completion. I am loving seeing each bit come together. You're doing great work mate, love it.
We all get to that stage of giving I’ve been there tho my beetle many times then you get a good day on it and the motivation comes back and start seeing the light at the end, keep it up mate your doing great 👍🏻
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching Chris. I haven't had many so far but that was a pretty big one. Feeling so much better now though after last week. Feel like I am getting somewhere and had a massive confidence boost!
Dan we all get tough weeks, there are over your last two vids 15k who are watching, your films.. really looking forward to your next update the results for me look really professional....
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching Mark. Yeah that was just a 1 off bad week I think. How many people watch the video's blow's me a way! Thank you all so so much 😘
Thanks for another great episode Dan. stick with man you’re an absolute inspiration. Really enjoyed the part about what welding wire and settings you use(wouldn’t mind seeing a quick video on what gear you use and how you set it up). I’m in the process of restoring a classic mini and have been putting the body work off for so long as I didn’t think I could do it, but after watching your progress you’ve inspired me to give it a shot. Keep up the great work, can’t wait to see some more progress 👍🏻
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching Steven, Glad you are enjoying the content. Go for it bud! It is a little frustrating for the first few panels but when it all starts to click it is so so rewarding!
When I was a young apprentice (back in the seventies) there was always a load of the tall gas bottles by the main workshop doors...I asked my foreman “why they all had the initials MT chalked on them?” He looked at me and slowly said “cos they’re empty Phil” - I could see at that point that he thought I was going to be a total “no hoper” ha ha! (Happy days)...nice job, keep well buddy. 😊🖖
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Matthew. I seem to obsess over little details in everything that I do. I need to remind myself that I am learning still! I have an idea on a twist for the interior.....
Coming along nicely. My favorite part about your whole thing is that a lot is handmade out of your "I'm going to figure it out" attitude. Keep getting at it!
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching Jonathan! Glad you are enjoying it! Isn't that the best way to do it? Jump in at the deep end and figure it out! I find that is the best way for me to learn!
Big inspiration. Loving the content loving the Mk1 keep up the brilliant work mate. For some one that is a first time welder. Your welding like a. Pro mate. Also. Them floor mats halford self’s them
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching John. It is probably a little big of a project for my first one but feel I am getting somewhere with it now.
Doing a wicked job mate, can't believe that was episode 16 it doesn't seem 2 mins ago I was watching you reveal the car ha ha. Keep plodding on it is coming back together nicely 👍🏽
Funny timing that; I was in a similar situation yesterday, I've just switched over from flux core to argon+co2 sheilded and the difference is night and day. Turns a ball-ache into a joy to work with. Keep up the good work man. 👍
The car you're leaving perfect Dan, much better than "professionals" who do it 8 hours a day (and I know what I'm talking about). When you do a man's work with the illusion of a child you become invincible... greetings and keep it up!!!
Doing a great job Dan, would probably be easier to chop out full panels and replace them but where is the fun in that plus i like how you are approaching the project. Easy to get overwhelmed by all the little sections but at the end of the day if it gets to much just replace the panel. 👍
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Simon. Glad you are enjoying it! Yes it would be. I couldn't get the boot floor though as it is out of stock for a few weeks and I need to get on. Hopefully it all turns out OK.
Dan you're doing a really good job mate, give yourself a bit of credit, I know exactly how you feel though, I've got a MK1 MX5 on a rotisserie and as much as you try you just can't get it perfect ever time 👍
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching Alan. We are all hard on ourselves with these resto's but it pushes us to do the best that we can do.
Dan you're doing a good job bud seriously, unless you have the factory presses/tooling there is no chance of recreating exact factory finish. Do not worry so much especially on inner panels that will never see the light of day again
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Andrew. I really have, Looking back over the past few weeks I have achieved a fair amount having never done it before!
Stop beating yourself up mate. It’s coming along great. Keep it up. Remember this is a weird year and we can’t get away to shows or in some cases we can’t even get out in VWs to grab a burger with pals. So we are kept going with good soles like you. Keep her lit. 👍
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Darren. Glad you are enjoying it and it is helping you get through these strange times! Can't wait to have the car finished, Drive to a show and be able to meet some of you guys.
Lovely Jubbly video. I did think you might find it hard being in there by yourself working , a popular detailer had similar problems achieving perfection and being by themselves day after day Dan, keep going the videos are great.
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Paul. Glad you are enjoying it! Yes, Working on my own is a little difficult especially as I don't have the radio on for when I am filming. Does drive you a little crazy!
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Dave. Glad you are enjoying the channel and the honesty. I like being open and honest on here. Oh nice! What's the plan with the MX5?
@@DanChambersDAC 😂 needs a full engine rebuild subframes need blasting and powder coating...I hope! Can’t wait to get started on it tomorrow and getting great inspiration from watching you videos so thanks for that and keep them coming 👌
I would have bought that if only that divot was still in the boot floor.....said no one (sane) ever. Doing a brilliant job keep at it. Must be frustrating with the builders but if you’ve not already tried I’m sure if you explained to them you need the radio off for an hour and explained why they’d be cool with it? Doing a decent job and looking forward to the finished product 👍
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Lee. Unfortunately that is just how my head works some times 😂 Over it now though and I think the repair is more than good enough. It was getting very frustrating! Had a word now and they seem to be quieter. They are only there for a few more weeks.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, that dimple in the boot floor that you cut out is an earthing point for the rear light clusters so you will likely have to find an alternative for the earth bolt. All the best.
If the existing dimple isnt too rotten then I guess you could cut that out of the piece of floor that you removed, make a hole in the new floor and weld the dimple in. All the best for whichever route you go down and keep up the good work.
Try and leave the original lines and divets in if they aren’t rotten. You may need to do more welding and patches may need to be odd shapes to cut around them but you get a much neater job in the end and it’s a lot less stress not having to work out how to form so many different shapes into flat steel. The divet you left out is for an earth point so it may be worth drilling a hole and welding a nut underneath to bolt the earth wire to.
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment bud. I did want to leave the details in but they all had some amount of rust in. If I can leave them I will do. Yes it is an earth. Will figure that out at a later date.
Great job. On the boot floor could you have cut out the circular detail and weld it back into your new patch panel and then grind off the welds. A bit of work but it should work.
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Melvyn. That was my preferred option but unfortunately the whole thing had rust holes in it. I way try to make something at a later date to try and recreate it.....
Keep your chin up Dan you're doing great. If we want to see a nuts and bolts bare bones 100k build we can watch Gas Monkey. Most ppl who are enjoying this are one man bands in a small garage like you and want to see the best way to do things with the tools they have. Half way through when its all in bits it's scary but you have to chop out the bad to make it good.
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching Rob. Really glad you are enjoying watching the channel. The best way, The big budget show's don't show enough detail for me.
I didn't realize you were using straight CO2... Argon and CO2 mix will be like night and day different...Keep up the great content. Also I thought you said you were going to get some heat for your shed. It looks pretty chilly in there....
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Stacy. Yup! I just used it as that is what the welder came with. The Argon mix makes welding so much easier! I have a heater on, It is still pretty cold in there 😂
Great content Dan lots of panels removed and remade maybe slow down a little it’s not a 5 minute job what your doing but your going the right way about it💪💪
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Martin. Slow Down? I need to speed up! I am way off my usual working pace 😂 Should get quicker as I learn more!
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Jordan. Glad you are enjoying it! I am using a Sealey Mighty Mig 150 With 0.6mm Wire and 95%Argon 5%Co2 gas. Work's pretty well bud.
Don’t take too much off the car apart before adding panels back on or it will warp and get overwhelming. Just take it step by step. Chin up and weld on. Enjoy.
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Ian. Bob is the man! Here is a link to their instagram and website bud. Highly recommend him. Mention me when you are booking too bud. Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Bud! I am getting to grips a little more with the welding every time I have a go! Practice makes perfect.
Nice work again your skills are getting better each week. Why don't you if your feeling frustrated work on maybe the mechanics for a day to take your mind off it?
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Darren. Every day i learn something new! I love it! I did have a little break this week (Video drops Sunday!) I need to get a sandblaster to be able to start refurbishing some other parts but no money to buy one!
Mate , your doing fine, don’t get drawn into “this panel must be perfect “ micro managing. Let the painters worry about finding that factory finish. That’s the painters job and that’s where they make there money 👊🏻👍🏻
Sometimes you need to know where to draw the line. Like not getting a perfect match for the divots... Who cares. Some git nicked my wheel nut caps, if you own a VW you know what I'm talking about. The pointless plastic covers. Anyway it was £20 for genuine or £5 for Chinese copies. The copies say VOL SKWAGON and not VOLKSWAGON but I figured no one will get on all fours to notice unless they're nicking them.
keep the videos coming i think your fabrication skills are off the charts considering your lack of experience, you have serious skills, looking forward to the next one
Thank you so much for the amazing comment and for watching Neil! I am glad you are enjoying the series, I have learnt so much!

Loving these videos Dan - amazing work and so thorough with the detail, fantastic 🙌
Thank you guy's so so much. Hopefully I am doing your panels etc justice ❤️
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Anthony. Glad you are enjoying it!
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching Phil, 😂 Love it!
Hey Dan, keep going with it....don’t worry about the finer details that will not be seen. Make it solid and make the interior the best it can be!
Pro mate. Also. Them floor mats halford self’s them
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching bud! Glad you are enjoying the content! I have learnt so much and am really enjoying it all!
Perhaps you have done too much too soon, don’t doubt yourself, doing a great job, looking forward to seeing it all painted and on the road
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Peter, It has gone quick hasn't it! I have only owned it for 12 weeks 🤣
Your doing a great job. Very inspirational. Carry on.
You will be so proud at the end
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Bud. Glad you are enjoying it! Can't wait to drive it!
Funny timing that; I was in a similar situation yesterday, I've just switched over from flux core to argon+co2 sheilded and the difference is night and day. Turns a ball-ache into a joy to work with.
Keep up the good work man. 👍
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Frank. Doesn't it just! Glad you got sorted too!
The car you're leaving perfect Dan, much better than "professionals" who do it 8 hours a day (and I know what I'm talking about). When you do a man's work with the illusion of a child you become invincible... greetings and keep it up!!!
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching bud!
Don't be hard on yourself Dan, You're doing 'great
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching Martin!
Good Stuff Dan keep up the good work 👍
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Bud. Glad you are enjoying it!
Dan you're doing a good job bud seriously, unless you have the factory presses/tooling there is no chance of recreating exact factory finish. Do not worry so much especially on inner panels that will never see the light of day again
Thank you so much for watching and for the motivational comment bud! I am learning now that what I am doing is actually OK!!!
Dan, don’t beat yourself up pal..
Your doing a great job there mate, look at the positive.. 👍🏼
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Paul. Glad you are enjoying it!
Chin up Dan your doing a great job. I’m sure when it’s finished you’ll be proud of yourself.
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Lee. Hopefully! I can't wait to take it for a drive.
Keep up the good work fella!
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Arnold.
Stay in the game Dan you’re doing a great job 👏 you have made some incredible progress as well. ✅
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Andrew. I really have, Looking back over the past few weeks I have achieved a fair amount having never done it before!
@@DanChambersDAC reckon the skills from your joinery are working through! That and your van builds plus a bit of cool nerve 😎👍
Save for the one about the heater, all the videos are interesting!! Keep up the fantastic work dude!!
Thank you for watching and for the comment dude.
Really enjoyed this one... You must have put so much work in for the panels to all simply fit together so difficultly! Keep it coming...
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Mark. Glad you are enjoying it! They were a little work but so worth the effort!
You are doing brilliant job on that nice keep going
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Bud. Glad you are enjoying it!
Hi mate you are doing a fantastic job keep up the good work👌

Project it will be worth the hardship in the end
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Bud. Glad you are enjoying it! It will all be so worth it in the end! Can't wait to drive it.
Good work Dan
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Liam. Glad you are enjoying it!
Stick with it Dan, this is inspirational stuff mate!
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Bud. Glad you are enjoying it!
Once again dan awesome vid keep them coming 👍
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment John. Glad you are enjoying it!
@@DanChambersDAC your most welcome dan 👍
Lovely Jubbly video. I did think you might find it hard being in there by yourself working , a popular detailer had similar problems achieving perfection and being by themselves day after day Dan, keep going the videos are great.
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Paul. Glad you are enjoying it! Yes, Working on my own is a little difficult especially as I don't have the radio on for when I am filming. Does drive you a little crazy!
Great video Dan
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Andy. Glad you are enjoying it!
Absolutely love the honesty Dan. My XR2 purchase fell through so have bought an MX5, really scary 😀
Doing great Dan 😉🇮🇪
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Alan.
Every days a school day bud , great vid 🇬🇧✊🏻
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Jim. It indeed is!
I changed from c02 in the summer to Hobby gas, it makes a massive difference
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Mike. Doesn't it just! You didn't race in the 80's BTCC did you?! 😂
Yes cheers, I will be able to earth the light's at another point. Or as my skills improve I may try and make the dimple again. Thanks for the comment.
If the existing dimple isnt too rotten then I guess you could cut that out of the piece of floor that you removed, make a hole in the new floor and weld the dimple in. All the best for whichever route you go down and keep up the good work.
Mate dont put too much pressure on yourself bro your doing a great job !
Thank you so so much for watching and for the comment Bud.
I've never owned a VW, either van or Golf, and am very unlikely to in the future. It's not the point. Metal is metal. Love the content, keep going, 👍
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Bud. Glad you are enjoying it!
Just had the same issue with the gas as you, ruined a couple of repair panels as a result, what a difference it makes having the right gas.....
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Bud. It makes such a difference doesn't it!
@@DanChambersDAC its like night and day m8, annoyed with myself i didnt see it sooner...
Stick in mate.
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching bud!
Keep it up mate. You’re doing amazing.
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Darren.
Keep chipping away mate, you’re doing great!
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Daniel.
Excellent your doing brilliant 😀
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Casper. Glad you are enjoying it!
Top man, novice to pro already, I know people who have worked on cars for years that would have patched that rear tub.
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Bud. I am enjoying the process so much. Will be so satisfying when I can drive it!
Most people on this rock are on A wobble now bud, heads up keep moving its working
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching bud! ❤️
Doing a great job mate! Keep calm and remember Rome wasn’t built in a day 💪🏻
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Grant. Glad you are enjoying it.
Great content mate! What welding kit are you using, a welding beginner myself and looking to buy a setup for my own projects. Thanks👍
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Jordan. Glad you are enjoying it! I am using a Sealey Mighty Mig 150 With 0.6mm Wire and 95%Argon 5%Co2 gas. Work's pretty well bud.
Dan, think about trying lead loading, Dave at Classic Car Cave has a good tutorial video.
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Andrew. I was talking to my dad about that last week. Could be something good to learn.
Looks cold
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching bud! It is at times!
Don’t take too much off the car apart before adding panels back on or it will warp and get overwhelming. Just take it step by step. Chin up and weld on. Enjoy.
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment David. I took as little off as I could to do the job I needed to. Started fitting new panels now.
Mate I am 47 years old and run my own business, if I dont have a daily wobble its not a normal day - Come back the next day refreshed ready to go
Thank you for watching and for the comment Gary. It does push us to want to better ourselves!
you have to stop apologizing for your work it looks good
think that if you did not make it then it will not come out to run again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💪🏼
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Kjeld. I doubt myself in everything I do 😔
Watch out with that heater it will probably create a ton of moisture, not what you want with exposed steel about
Thank you for watching and for the comment. I don't have it on for very long. Hopefully it will be OK. Looking to change to a diesel heater soon.
Could you give the details re the welding course guy. Thanks
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Ian. Bob is the man! Here is a link to their instagram and website bud. Highly recommend him. Mention me when you are booking too bud.

Did you manage to move the TT on to a new home?
Thank you so much for the comment and for watching David. Yes sold it a few weeks back. Figured I didn't really have the time for it!
Im the same I like making the panels but I can take or leave the welding to be honest lol
You could film with the noise next door and put in a time lapse so we can see you work
I did think of that bud but was in too much of a bad mood to do it 😂
Cooking with gas now dude 😂👍🏻
Mate , your doing fine, don’t get drawn into “this panel must be perfect “ micro managing. Let the painters worry about finding that factory finish. That’s the painters job and that’s where they make there money 👊🏻👍🏻
Machine mart , “little devil space heater” you will be working in your boxer shorts in 5 minutes. £95 👍🏻
🤣 Literally. Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Bud. I have the idea that I am going to prep and paint it all 😂
Sometimes you need to know where to draw the line.
Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Bud. Definitely, Glad I made the decision I did. Yeah the Chinese one's do the same job!
man........so awesome............but NO i shall not take on a rusty project lol.
