One issue I have with this comic. Luna moths don't have mouths. At all. They have them in their larval stage and that's it. They HAVE to find a mate before they starve.
Aren't Luna Moths the moths that don't have mouths, causing to them to only live for like a week from the leftover energy from when they were in their larval stage?
Looked into them a bit recently, but yes. They don't have mouths and no digestive tract, allowing them only time to reproduce. Any energy they have after metamorphosis is from what they ate as caterpillars.
