This is truly amazing. I just make a batch using a fresh growler from❤ The great divide “Yeti Imperial Stout” from tap and it is truly amazing! This is already my favorite beer now it’s been ratcheted even higher.
@1:18 You don't need beer gas as the beer in the can should already be carbonated with CO2. If it was flat you would have to recarb or use beer gas which is approx 75% Nitro and 25% CO2. Different ratios for different styles of beer.
We have not, the only concern with that would be the creamer tap on it. I have heard a regular carbonated beverage out of a creamer tap would result in a cup full of foam. However, you could remove that when you would want to put a carbonated beer in it and it would handle the pressure no problem. You would probably have to buy the 8g sleeve converter too. Let me know if this helps! -Devin
Hope you enjoy the video. Let us know if you want us to put anything else in the uKeg Nitro!

Nice 🙂 I just ordered one of these to try with my homebrew stout. This video gives me high hopes. Thanks a bunch 😀
How did it work out?
I was thinking of boiling/brewing my own root beer using roots and spices. I wonder how it would fair in the nitro!
it would be worth a shot. probably just creamier and smoother compared to a typical carbonated root beer
Has anyone tried ordering parts for the nitro from growlerwerks and swaping them out with the ukeg? are parts interchangable??
i believe everything but the spout is interchangeable. there are no threads on the ukeg beer growler spout it’s all 1 piece.

yes. unfortunately it was just an N2O cartridge and not pure nitrogen. Wasn’t officially a “nitro” stout
Have u used that uKeg with co2 cartridges and beer?

This is brilliant!
thanks 🙏🏻 turned out great
All great features. Kind of large, but probably wouldn't be satisfied with any less
