It's surprisingly refreshing to have a character in an Undertale game that isn't redeemable at all. He doesn't have a sad story or a soft side underneath, he's just a jerk motivated by hatred who can't be dealt with peacefully. Undertale mentioned at the end that "There are a lot of Floweys out there" and that not everything can be solved by talking, but it has never been showed like in Deltarune. If you think about it, he's probably the worst person from the two games because at least Flowey had trauma and was physically incapable of caring.

Maybe, if the Card Kingdom is still intact after the Dark Fountain is sealed, we might get to see King in the Card Castle basement, and he realizes he was ridiculously wrong about the Fountain, has no (very few) hard feelings about their fight, and is perfectly fine with being imprisoned because he's so proud of his son being the new king. I did start my comment with "maybe I'm just a hopeless optimistic".

Due to how souls work I think Spade King would knock out Asgore in a single hit. Unless Asgore was protecting Kris/Frisk or something. And even then, Spade King's trick towards the end would probably work on Asgore.

Plus, he wanted to free the monsters first. It was basically barrier first, then humanity. Either way, seven souls were needed.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t think the Chaos King is always like this to Lancer. I think it was more of a spur of the moment thing where the Chaos King had to guard the fountain before the lighteners could get through.

I know everyone is saying that King is a terrible father for threatening to throw Lancer off of a cliff, but as he said Lancer would have bounced. Even in chapter 2, it was said that Lancer is bouncy. Even if King had thrown him off of a cliff, he still would have bounced and probably wouldn't have been hurt. His dad seems like an actually good father and never actually put his son into any real harm because he knew that Lancer would have been fine. He only did it to try to stop Kris, Susie, and Ralsei. He has kingly duties to attend to which is why he also relies on Roulxs to take care of Lancer when he has to do something else.

King is literally the Devil. Asgore is innocent.
I know everyone is saying that King is a terrible father for threatening to throw Lancer off of a cliff, but as he said Lancer would have bounced. Even in chapter 2, it was said that Lancer is bouncy. Even if King had thrown him off of a cliff, he still would have bounced and probably wouldn't have been hurt. His dad seems like an actually good father and never actually put his son into any real harm because he knew that Lancer would have been fine. He only did it to try to stop Kris, Susie, and Ralsei. He has kingly duties to attend to which is why he also relies on Roulxs to take care of Lancer when he has to do something else.
