Another great video! I just want to sit down and play a game with you - I can tell that would be a good time. Thanks for pumping out this awesome content! Informative and entertaining.
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Vader the draw on opening hand. Great video! I struggled resourcing properly during set 1 and got stomped a lot at first. Once I started to learn how dynamic proper resourcing is and to play on curve or counter properly that’s when I started winning a lot more against better cards or decks. Its ok to throw away bombs that you’ll never get to or good cards that won’t work well in certain matchups
Resourcing properly is one of the biggest skill differences I see right now. Hopefully this can help people level up like you noticed in your own play.
Awesome stuff Matty, keep it coming. I think Live deck build would be AWESOME, as well as a “Slo-mo” game where you talk through each resource choice/play.
The talk is all about a chess game. The action to action nature of unlimited (like destiny) bring us to this kind of better adaptive plays. In whole turn games, like magic, we don’t care too much about responding opponent plays in early turns. The resource coming from a useful card from hand matter a lot in this prediction subgame that we have to keep checking, just like chess.
Great video! Audio seems a tad low, but otherwise good. Other content.. anything deck building.. like for example.. I have three different Hero Boba Red builds but I have no idea which one is better and worth pursuing. I know the common advice is try playing it into the meta decks to get an idea of its % but that seems like advice that serves people better who either have a testing group or are already competitive players. But what about the people who are trying to make that jump from locals to larger competitive play.
Thanks for the feedback on the audio. I’ll look into that. Keep me posted as I’m a few videos up on production but will work on it again now. Thanks for your feedback on content! Those are great ideas.
@@adamkukielski828 thank you for the feedback. I will look into the audio issues. Give me a few videos as I am up on content for this channel but please keep me posted!
