I'm not even mad, Scarlett played amazingly, but SoO is a 6 time GSL finalist. I'm simply proud Scarlett managed to keep her nerves steady in the series.
I don't really feel like Scarlett was tilted, just under pressure. It's amazing she made it this far. Hell it was amazing she even made it to the Code S in the first place. Even the Code A players are VERY good in Korea. I think she could definitely make it to the finals, it's just going to take some time to get used to the environment. It would also help if she didn't meet SoO who basically never loses before the finals.
Good fight Scarlett. SoO is a tough cookie before the finals, Ro8 is historic. I can't wait to see next season. I would not be surprised to see her in the finals of gsl some day real soon.
Her play was really good, but SoO showed us why he never loses in the ro8 or ro4 and why he may be the best player ever to exist in Starcraft 2. The match was short, but damn good and I can't wait to see if SoO can break the curse and to see if Scarlett can get further next season!
5:50 I find the interview part amusing. I wonder how he made 30 lings at the start. Did he really just go lings? The camera kept showing people and Scarletts base. I think he did. I can't wait to see him face off against someone else. Good game.
I don't think Scarlett played well here like some people say (I mean as well as she did before). It's a night and day difference from how she played in previous rounds last month. She was looking unstoppable. Especially, her ZvZ was great. In fact, Soo's play was good, but not even that great. If Scarlett was playing like she did before, she would have had no problem taking him out here. I wonder what happened to her. She didn't even make it into the Intel main tournament (24 players) last week despite attempting 2 online qualifiers plus going to Poland to play in the offline open brackets.
lol Scarlett just won by cheesing and now she couldn't rely on that since she got figured out, and soO eat hear, outclassed her in all compartiment of the game
If I was ever invited to her birthday I would gift her a 2m2 tarp and smile sheepishly while doing so then pull out a real present. I think her sense of humour could take it... I hope.
I was torn about this one. I couldn't decide if I wanted to root for a foreigner Zerg to move on and continue to shock the scene or a perpetual second-placer to move on and continue his bid to get the monkey off his back. I'm almost sad that someone had to lose in this one but in the end, the winner deserved to move on and I'll cheer that person on to continue their run.
can you please add spoiler buffer at the end of the video? obvious soo wins after he takes game 1 in a 44 min video.
First match starts - 9:52
Soo is the man who always wins before final match!!!!
Sadpanda. I was rooting for Scarlett, but Soo is pretty good in ZvZ. I think there were some nerve issues there due to some basic mistakes.
Noooo!
Well, to be fair, Soo has never lost when he gets into the Ro8. ZvZ is such a knife-fight.
야 당연히 어윤수가 이기는거였음 안 봐도 뻔할 뻔

you could clearly see in game 1 how much Soo outclassed her, she had advantage most of the game and couldn't do ANYTHING with it
soO went full godmode and ultra tilted Scarlett after game 1. That mutaling attack was BATSHIT INSANE!

Jason McCarrell personally I feel like Scarlett wasn't playing at top performance
one match to the finals.. Stats will be hard to win against.I think Maru is going to take this GSL, AAM is op.

would a spore or 2 for scarlett in game 1 not make that situation much easier? wtf

No such thing. There's different strategies. Both of them use. She did play better before in early and late game.
Such Savagery. Soo surpassed Scarlett spectacularly. Supremely sorrowing Scarlett's soaring star.
Seriously, so short. Suspiciously short, something suspect? Soo simply superior.
41:00 why interviewer has elven ears?
