I dont think the row is a trend at all. My margsux 10 is my most used bag. I had young children once but if I'd bought this bag then, it would still be useful now, because kids grow.
I just got my Margaux 10 in the pebbled leather. The smaller bag is still very much the Margaux style and it is not heavy at all. The 10 and 12 are very roomy and of course have the attachable strap if a strap is needed. The price is was $3,590.00 which is very reasonable. The leather is beautiful and the bag is NOT HEAVY. It is hard to find a reasonably sized tote that has a shoulder strap. It's a great bag.

I keep going back-and-forth and because I have a Birkin 35 and a few 30’s, I just have hesitated because it would essentially serve the same purpose lol. And I will admit it’s a bit annoying that it’s become so popular and trendy😂. So it’s a pass for now. I too go through pros and cons…will it be functional for me…with any bag purchase! I have a Marqaux 15. I do love it but I wish I’d gone with the 12 or even the 10 because they have a strap. Have a Birkin and have used it three times which is sad. Use my Kelly more. Again, I think because of the strap I tend to use them more.😊
I have got the black half moon bag already. Do you recommend in getting the park tote medium too? My struggle is whether to invest in two bags from the same brand😂
To me they are completely different bags and uses so I definitely think there’s room in a collection for both! Plus they are so minimal and discreet it’s not obvious they are from the same brand, and excellent quality
Also if you are in a city where you have to be conscious of pick pockets/theft. A cross-body is just practical from a security point of view. Plus you will be less tempted to leave on surfaces that are far from hygienic.
Hi Natalie, I just found the Margaux 15 from Saks Fifth Avenue online for an amazing sale (50% off). I am anxiously awaiting it to arrive tomorrow. I don’t know if it’s worth it at the current price of $5,190 plus my state tax but I was willing to buy it on sale even if it has some scratches. Take care🌻

It is what it is, To be honest I watch TH-camrs who know nothing about the row talk a lot like they know the brand since the Margaux gained popularity. I actually owned items from the row’s line and it’s sister brand Elizabeth and James before MK and Ashley decided to only focus on the row. It’s funny to see the hysteria surrounding the Margaux as it was never on my radar but I wanted to see what the hype was about. My daughter isn’t a fan of my Chanel classics and is more into the items like your park tote. The only reason why I got it was because it was on sale, I wore big bags in my teens, twenties and thirties. So I figured this is something she may enjoy when she graduates college. Her favorite bag is her dad’s old school carryon binder 😅. I love so much and don’t want her to spend her earnings on anything designer. She’s a simple girl and could careless for things that I started buying as an adult. Sorry to leave such a long message but I use to do TH-cam back in 2009 and stopped because it was not for me. Deleted my channel and never looked back. Yes, I can’t say it’s not good for everyone because I’m not everyone- and if someone makes that kind of claim they are probably just full of it, right? But if someone is debating buying this bag and hasn’t thought about the cons of it, then this should be helpful because all that anyone else ever talks about is the pros
@@RobynA11would love to know what size and leather type you’re referring to, I think that’s helpful information when talking about weight and what bag in comparison since that’s opinion based. Also newer versions are canvas lined and not suede lined so that does cut weight a bit.
@@modeetchien I had the 17 in smooth with suede interior and it wasn’t what I would call heavy, especially given the size. I have the 15 in both leathers and they are very light. Compared to a Birkin, especially. I guess I just think it’s odd to review a bag that you don’t have and speak to what you feel are the cons.
