Those are some nice boots I had frank rebuild a pair of my whites smokejumpers and had then isolated for the cold weather they did a great job I own 6 pair of whites my self but would love to have Frank's make me a custom pair
What makes you say that Frank’s makes the toughest boots? Do you mean as opposed to the rest of the PNW makers? Have you tested any PNW boots to their limits or had any of them fail due to normal wear and tear?
I have certainly had a lot of PNW boots and other brands but I belief nobody can really say what is the toughest boots. You can do pressure scratch test in a building or walk with them for years. For me it’s a feeling, the way boots are build, the sheer weight of the materials. I think Franks is not Fashion influenced and they make the boots the best they can. Other PNW brands like Nicks and Whites just as good although Nicks is maybe going a bit more mainstream quality. Less customizations, no McKay stitching, no lined boots. Whites is making all different qualities now and has some awesome top models but quality(control) has let me down last couple of boots I received from them. In the end it’s just an opinion.
Like you said, all nice boots. Too bad about the mix up and now more weeks to wait. Looking forward to seeing what you get in return. @Qltyboots in Norway has some Franks Riker boots he's shown a few times and I've always admired them.
NICE! 3 pairs!

I would definitely recommend you do that 😄!
Tan Teton looks great, really nice boots. To bad they mixed them up for you. I’m sure they will fix it for you
Thanks! Yes Franks reached out immediately and will fix it!
@@willempasman827 they have a great customer service
I love my franks and Wesco’s. However I can’t understand buying so many at once. They take a good amount of time to break in
It was actually two orders and in rotation it will take a couple of months to get them broken in but mostly that will go just fine.

The Rykers are very nice, will get one with a toe bug.
@@willempasman827 Can't wait to see them!
Only 1 pair was not suppose to be Tan Teton? Or all 3 were wrong?
Little mix up in the leather, but is already taken care of. Didn’t Nicks sell this Tan Teton in the past?
@@willempasman827 yes they sold it and I believe at the end called it MaxSupport Tan. Now they only offer 1964 Tan.
@@willempasman827 are the monkeys available? You’re a 9.5 f right?
What are the sizes of these boots? Thanks
Not my cup of tea
I agree with you. That’s not my cup of tea either especially that color. It looks like baby poop just like Grant from Nick’s Boots calls it!
