Kicks in the beginning are super sloppy. There's no way Gene is playing it that sloppy his technique is too on point. I blame the triggers. There must be delay in processing the beater impacts or delay in audio feed. Something's up.
It sounds really bad at the start but then later on it becomes robot-like. It's like he either was having a cramp, issues with the pedals, or they just killed that mic and turned on a dummy track..
That was so incredibly sloppy. They definitely bit off more than they could chew with this one and clearly have problems executing it. They need to work in that. I don’t know how long ago this was, so maybe they did.

well Gene said FF wasn't his type of music. I'm not saying he did a bad job because he didnt like the music, but motivation seems at fault here.
