Sports on NBC are always better. Epic intros and themes

Last NBC MLB game on national television until 2022 when NBC simulcast a game on Peacock.

I'd pay good money to find the full version of the music that plays at 1:33
The music NBC used in 1999 and 2000 for post season coverage defines baseball like no other.

I wish that I can find out not only a full clean version of the 1999-2000 NBC baseball theme, but also who composed it. This is probably my favorite theme for their baseball coverage besides "Heroes" (the theme that they used for the All-Star Game and postseason coverage from 1986-89 and for the Game of the Week proper in 1989) and the Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. theme from the 1996 playoffs until the 1998 All-Star Game. I suppose what I really like about the 1999-2000 theme because it's very inspiring and hopeful.

Baseball is kind of/sort of coming back to NBC in 2022. Beginning in May 8, they'll produce early Sunday afternoon/early morning (if you live on the West Coast) broadcasts for their Peacock streaming service. The very first game on May 8, will be simulcast on NBC. This would make the first time that a Major League Baseball game would be televised on NBC since Game 6 of the 2000 ALCS.

Ezequiel Briones get all kinds of nostalgia thinking about him playing “Kalinka” in the Old Yankee Stadium

Plus the voice of Bob Sheppard. I still get goosebumps when I hear his voice in those Yankee games of the past

this was the real world series that year. 2 best teams in baseball. Oakland had an argument for 2nd best also. so the 3 best teams were all american league .

What if NBC got baseball back, Bob Costas would have stayed. Costas is in talks to leave NBC after nearly 40 years with the network.
Someone mentioned Felix Hernandez. He may retire without any postseason appearances. The last time the Mariners made the playoffs was in 2001.

Why hasn't the NBC broadcast Major League baseball games since the year 2000? www.quora.com/Why-hasnt-the-NBC-broadcast-Major-League-baseball-games-since-the-year-2000

I've been looking for the full game for awhile now with no luck.

if the Mariners hadn't traded Randy Johnson for Freddy Garcia the Mariners wouldn't have signed Felix Hernandez as Felix worshipped Freddy Garcia

if we hadnt traded randy johnson, we prob win a world series in 2000 or 2001...i love felix, but a whole lot of good its done us as a franchise to sign him....

Joey Parkhill that’s kind of funny Freddy Garcia was not that good lol he was one of the Yankees notorious over the hill pitchers they signed throughout the 2000s. So was Randy Johnson for that matter

Joe Morgan just could never accept the Yankees were a bigger, better, dynasty than his lame Reds club.
