When I was studying at dindigul psna during 1984 to 88 rarely visited that thalapakatti near manikoondu a small shop no seats available they poured in a small cup for rs 5 the taste was amazing but quantity was small so that age ours stomach could not full fill so rarely visited the shop but now it's magnifying into larger level but present taste is not as eat in my college days

Thalapakatti lost its touch in last few years..in its origin city dindugul laye it lost its pride..all people mostly prefer venu biriyani over thalapakatti in dindugul..

Vanakkam! We as children had known only (Anantha Vilas) Thalapakkatti Briyani as the only restaurant opposite to St. Joseph Church. Then we were introduced to Bangaru biryani kadai ( Chatti Pannai kadai locally called) Venu biryani kadai, Om Muruga Hotel to taste parotta and their gravy. Similarly we had the luxury of tasting set parotta, Nattu kozhi, Jamuna Restaurant's Fried rice, Bun parotta, Madura chicken, Butter chicken. Along with these food givers emerged Jabbar parotta stall, Sakthi Vinayagar Chappathi stall, Lakshmi Chappathi stall, Siva biryani and parotta stall, Ponram biryani stall, Anbu parotta stall,KM parotta stall, Taj parotta stall, and many others to satisfy customers palate. I am from Dindigul. Welcome BOSS!
My father used to take us Thalappakatti in dindigul.I am missing that original flavoured biriyani served in banana leaf.😋

Hi sir l tried Thalappakkatti briyani in Malaysia can say just ok only and expensive. We don't mind paying more but taste must be good. People willing to go far if food is good even expensive. Insist of opening new branches kindly concentrate on quality and quantity. Gone thru all the comments here - almost all people are complaining on quality and quantity only so please. Be focus👍keep rocking and good luck.

Thalpakatti biryani in Jayanagar Bangalore my expectation was very high but after eating it was very low class Biryani first of all it was not hot and one small piece of mutton and fish I purchased was too smelly. Overall with the brand they are cheating the customer Total my bill was 680 it was not worthy
