Buildings Renovated | Industrial Rustic Design in a Restored Historic Bar

The project involves transforming a historic building in Mexico into a bar while adhering to strict preservation guidelines. Restoration work includes reconstructing original architectural elements like balconies, doors, ceilings, floors, and wall finishes, with the addition of concealed reinforcing structures. The layout of the bar is adapted to the original room configurations, creating unique and surprising spaces. Bathrooms and other services are built in the backyard using exposed concrete. The interior design features an industrial/rustic aesthetic, using iron and wood to maintain historical integrity, with visible installations to avoid damaging the original stone walls.
