    It so amazes me how much Japan is into gaming and toys. Those stores are so HUGE! And there are so many of them. I wonder if they ever come back to earth. And it seems like everything is wrapped in cellophane, even in the dept. store. It's certainly a different view of Japan than you would get from a normal touristy vlog. LOL Keep 'em coming.

    Whoa! Jarring to see Michael's son. I remember in your first (or second?) Japan vlogs when he was just born. Time sure does fly.

    The pirate rangers one is “Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger”, which was adapted into Power Rangers Super Megaforce, and the train rangers are called “Ressha Sentai ToQger”. That one never got adapted into a Power Rangers in the US, but the villain suits have been used in Ninja Steel and Dino Fury

    Japan is surely a paradise for gamers, especially for those who are into retro ones.

    I could easily go broke in that toy store. Saw a bunch of stuff that I collect in the background as you looked around.

    Man, that Don Quijote looks huge! Or at the very least far more spacious than the ones I've been to in Tokyo.

    Hey Robby. When were you in Japan for these videos? I was there for two weeks in September 2019. We happened to be there in between two major storms, and the weather was unbearable. Thanks.

      Haha, probably safe in Japan. There's a whole ocean separating them from China. It was funny though because I went near O'Hare airport the other day and right after I got home I saw that was where one of the first cases of it in the US was

    The Darryl thing is from a somewhat popular 80s sitcom in the US where there are two half-wit brothers both named Darryl. I never really saw the program except in passing and can't remember the name of it, but I think Bob Newhart might have been in it.

    Weird how TH-cam stopped recommending these to me out of the blue 🤔. Also the store you were in with all the old retro games and lenses was the spelling: "book off"? I'd like to add it to possible places to visit!

    New subscriber here! Quick question: Now if you buy these games in Japan, are they only available in Japanese or do they sell English ones too? I wanted to buy PS1 games but reluctant to do so as I am unable to understand the language (at least for now). Hoping anyone can answer.

    • @RobbyHuang
      @RobbyHuang  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Definitely only Japanese. There's some games where it doesn't really matter (like a fighting game for instance), but it's all gonna be japanese.

    • @intoxicatedvinz9064

    @0:29 why is the wii more expensive than a new switch lite?

    • @RobbyHuang
      @RobbyHuang  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think most of the stuff in there is either new/unopened, or a special edition of some sort. I imagine the Wii is just unopened, so that's a little bit rare
