I shared the documentary several times in the few days since watching. I had no idea there were people who believed as I did. I had journaled the most recent nightmare of interactions with the mental health system with my 29 year old son. Nothing has improved since my brother died from suicide in 1995 and my sister-in-law about 10 years later. It's horrifying, and I'm embarrassed to be a part of it. I am grateful to find you reinventing the wheel and proud to share your mission with all that I can.

I am so grateful for finding your videos and have been speaking about clean eating and intermittent fasting, which I have personally found to be so helpful, and absolutely know the psychotropic medication is not the answer. Sugar is my problem drug, but done better the past few months and like you, I get off track with people around me eating less healthy, and also once I eat sugar I want more. For me trying to make healthy choices and intermittent fasting is the answer versus pure keto and is much easier for me. Once you begin to eat only one good meal a day then it's amazing how the body adjusts and I don't become hungry at other times unless I do go off track, then getting back on track is the way to get it back to what I see an easy lifestyle. Thanks for your all your work .

I’ll say it again, Nicole has helped create one of the most valuable collections of mental health videos on the internet. I plaster her name (and Dr. Josef Witt-Doerring’s name) everywhere.

Thank you! It is. It's one of the best paleo/primal/keto/carnivore books I've encountered, bc of its ease of readability. Glad you are listening to it!

Almost 10 years off and currently in a set back and during my time in wd I have tried every diet and what I do know is that it isn't one size fits all. I didn't come into wd eating rubbish, I was always a healthy eater, keto, paleo didn't save me from protracted, in fact, my weight during keto was so alarming that if i didn't add carbs i would have died. I understand the principles behind the benefits of keto I just don't fully adhere to it being the best fit for everyone. And before ppl come at me and say I must have been doing it correctly, I was under the supervision of a Dietician. Personally, I believe foods high in naturally occurring glutamate and histamine and low vagal tone is more of a hindrance to healing.

To be clear, this interview was not promoting that a keto diet will heal withdrawal.

I have a histimine reaction to most foods. This is quite frustrating as I am hungry & miss most foods.

Synthetic Thiamine and all the other B vitamins, along with D3 and Acetyl-L-Carnatine helped immensely, both with sleep and recovery.
Oh, make sure to take vitamin K Mark-7 with the D3 in order to metabolize it properly.

I tried carnivore diet for several months, and noticed nothing with the exception of extreme constipation. Of course, it's different for everyone, and I have an extra complexity of not possessing a gallbladder. Still looking for what works 🤞

Carnivore diet is terrible and satanic.

Hi...I'm about 33 days into strict carnivore (but with coffee) and have felt no appreciable improvement either. Very hopeful but at this
point becoming somewhat discouraged. Hopeful for lower back/limbs decreased pain and mostly need some energy. I'm 74y so realize
that improvement will likely take longer time. I'm committed for 90 days before I add anything back in. I really don't have many strong
cravings . The eggs/meat/coffee are satisfying. Best, p
