Lama Govind...I am truly happy for having the privilege of sharing the earth at the same time you are here. Thank you for spreading your knowledge and powerful energy!! OM
I've only heard of lamas and ascetic mystics my whole life - it's been a beautiful privilege to listen to one through this film. The absence of pride in this guru tells you all you need to know, that and his absurdist gentle humor. His story and laugh at the end... what can I say? What a wonderful film. Here is a man who lives the dharma. Not for him the throne to sit upon, and minions attendant upon him, like some lamas, the kind who give the dharma a bad name, but a leaking roof and a humble attitude. He is the real deal. Thanks for posting this so much.
If there is no throne sitter lama, how dharma will be spread? Various dharma practitioners are needed. The present yogi must have got teaching from a throne sitter lama before he started meditating. Also, some ppl complaining of large monasteries, If there is no monasteries, how dharma should be preserved? Lamas dont sit on throne during religious to show his highness. It is done because dharma itself is holy and lama himself prostate to the throne before giving teaching.

He didn’t like the fact that people don’t pick up the cause and responsibility that goes with it. So we all have to think here Why ??
I watched the whole thing and the way I see it is he's just some filthy old con man who has convinced people he's 'holy' so they will give him free food & lodgings. He doesn't work. He doesn't produce anything of value yet people worship him. It's bizarre. Plus, he abandoned his wife and child.

That he gave all that was given to him to others on the road. that he sat so coolly by the side of the road blessing them. that he showed what piece of red chilly he ate with salt. that he is rich because he had spices and one raincoat. and that smile. what can you say? we have too many things and are still not happy. And how can one walk with so much speed? His Padyatra, a community pilgrimage if you will, reminded me of the Padyatra Gandhiji took or Vinoba took for Bhoodan movement. What a blessing , to see this. Thank you Lama. " May I be like the lotus , not clung to by water, and the sun and the moon, unhindered in the sky."
I was so spell bound to watch the complete documentary and it felt like it is happening in front of me. It also reminded me of my native place in the Himalaya. I now fully believe why the Himalayas are the best locations for any such meditation/ Dhyan.
Thank you for bringing this lovely feature to all of us.
Just wanted to mention the entire area is incredible for these things, the Himalayas are just a tiny part of this VAST chains of mountains
Words can’t describe the simplicity of Lama Govind , one can only experience by His blessings. Thanks 🙏🏼 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
It's a blessing to watch him, hear him talk and feeling blessed
Thank you for making this film.
I had purchased Milarepa's biography and presently reading it.I never knew about lama Gobind until now.Its only a week ago that I started to read Milarepa's biography. And wonder of the wonders, this documentary suddenly popped up in my TH-cam channel. It seems milarepa wanted me and others here to know how he lived dharma through the living presence of this great yogi.
Thanks for the infinite blessings of Tathagatha and milarepa that I atleast came to know of this true yogi and hope to meet him atleast once in my lifetime.
My humble pranams to this bodhisattva.
I can see a glimpse of Mila’s life through him. How do you find reading?
Agree with you.
My God! A real Yogi ! I am feeling blessed that I came across this video.

He doesnt see the functionality, but his part in it happenes anyway.
The complexities of the Dharma so beautiful in their labyrinthine dances.
It's a blessing to watch this .... thank you 🥺🥰🥰
I come from a background where I have seen lama and rimphoche living glamorous or wealthy life style in those humongous monastery and preaching others to live a simple life. but after watching this video I can say without hesitation that you are the only true/ real lama guru who leads with example. My prayers and I bow on you great lama.
Chirag Pradhan yes and feel so joyful seeing the humbling path yatra too. Many generations of his has been honest practitioners
Chirag Pradhan in India we. Got gurus who live like kings They even own helicopter. They say they are god itself and making millions.
@Sam Tyler truth is bitter. Can't withstand productive cristisim, instead sum up with fake id. Om mane Padme hung. may Buddha bring true wisdom in your life.
@@sarojakrieg4780 We have fake gurus and real ones too. You just have to keep searching until you find one suits you. If you go to buy fruits/vegetables, you have to select the good quality ones. Same with gurus.
@paul w tq sir for sharing your knowledge and wisdom though I am really sorry for going against your thoughts . From what I have learnd and understood richness is compassion and love towards humanity while the materialistic richness is just an illusion, physical trappings of wealth. Those possessions are often a disguise the mask that people wear. Sadhu sadhu sadhu
So beautiful. So intriguing. Such innocence and simplicity. Inward journey of mind.
That innocent smile says that I have experienced the truth and there is no connection between me and my physical body. Practice well if you too want to experience the reality. 🙏
