I started laughing so hard as I put some cream over the bite and went to talk to my trainer who told her to go away (they never came back again) 😂

Omg the bit thing is so pressed on by a lot of people I feel like. Yes there are some bits that would harm a horse, but like, I don't see how a simple D ring bit does any harm when used correctly. I've used D ring bits on my Welsh gelding for 6 years now and he's fine. Lol.

One time someone who said they “rode in the Olympics” said they wouldn’t wear helmet ( it’s the rules btw) I asked them to leave then, they yelled no. They declined to ride a very nice horse amazing for beginners and wanted to ride a non broke fully xD couldn’t stop em.. they ended up riding no helmet, tack (cuz it’s “animal abuse”), and on a non broke filly XD I laughed so hard I’ve never seen them since too. Think they learned their lesson

I work at a horse barn and I am proud of the effort me and my coworkers put into the care and safety of horses and riders. We once had a Karen call animal control on us and the animal control officer was also a Karen who visited us every day for a week, watching us closely and double checking everything that we did trying to find even the smallest reason to charge us for animal abuse. They obviously found absolutely nothing and I am happy they did check us out so thoroughly because animal abusers deserve to get caught, but it was obvious they were not doing it for the sake of the animals, they were doing it to fuel their own egos and ride a power trip

this is so scary because it's true! I ran into Karen's like this... in person though. They were the best of the best horse trainers around (they didn't even own a horse, well 1 did and she was scared of it). One day they asked if I could get this horse for the property owners sisters (this horse was unruly if he knew you weren't confident - he was 18, he knew he what he was doing was wrong lol). Normally, he would run circles and push these Karens around (he was uncontrollable in their eyes) I grabbed out of the pasture and he walked quietly beside all the way back to the house LMAOOOO! So after that Karens do what they do best... DESTROYED my reputation, and bullied me off the property.
