With us all looking at this as Our Hollow Our Homes last song I goto say I’ve really enjoyed them this past year with their new lineup as that’s when I got to know the band. The songs have been great and very relatable to a lot of my own struggles I’ve been going through lately so I thank the boys for that. Sad to see them go but it hasn’t been for nothing! ❤
I only recently stumbled across these guys about a year ago roughly, and I've really only dabbled in a few songs but every song has been killer, including this one. Bummer to see they're ending as a band.

I've been hearing about this band for years and now that i start seriously listening to them with these amazing singles they announce that they're done? :(( Damn that sucks, these songs encapsulate the OG metalcore vibes but with all the modern twists that make it sound so crisp and mature, amazing stuff right here.

I have loved and supported this band since literally day 1 and becoming such great friends with past and present members and everyone else in the OHOH camp This band means the world to me they are my absolute favourite metalcore band seeing them from tiny rooms and stages to one of the best and biggest bands in the game can’t quite believe they are calling it a day 🤍 MAD LOVE 🤍

Bro plenty of bands have what ur looking for. This is a very specific version of metalcore like Killswitch or The Ghost Inside. Something similar with no clean vocals would be the new Unearth album.
I hate that this is the first thing I think, but I'll just say it. Every single song with clean vocals (so, practically every song y'all make) the SECOND they come in, the song loses a ton of momentum. Then it sounds like y'all spend the next minute or so trying to regain that momentum before the cleans come in and the song just slows right down. This song has so much ferocity and a nice melodic bounce and then it goes.. like.. country pop. Very close to it anyways. And you lose me. You lose every single time. I love cleans but I don't think the instrumental needs to soften and play the same rote melodic tones. There can still be heaviness WITH the cleans and you practically never go there. It's jarring. At best it's jarring, at worst it creates an immediate disconnect with that particular song. Which means, when you've promoted albums, those singles created a feeling in me that wanted to listen to that song less and gravely reduced my anticipation of said album. And I write this to say.. to this band and any other band: You don't have to strip away the heaviness of a song to introduce clean vocals. In fact, when you do, it's very jarring to the overall structure of the song. You don't need the exact same instrumentation as the verses. You can change that up. But removing the heaviness when the cleans come in? It doesn't make the heavy parts heavier, it just reduces the effectiveness of the clean sections.
I’m really heartbroken these guys have called it a day. Seen them live 37 times in total and always had so much fun. I will forever cherish the music. 😭 if anyone wants to see some mediocre Guitar covers of some of their older songs from the previous line up check my page. Don’t be too harsh though lol
