다산북스 웹소설/웹툰 IP ‘시간의 계단’은 연아와 지훈의 서로를 구하기 위해 목숨을 건 둘의 가슴 저린 사랑 이야기를 통해 누구나 가슴에 하나쯤은 품고 있는 그리운 첫사랑의 추억을 자극한다. 나아가 현실에 파묻혀 속물이 된 연아가 과거와 현재를 오가며 삶을 아름답게 빛낼 줄 아는 사람으로 성장해나가는 심리를 섬세하게 그려내며 깊은 울림을 준다.
‘시간의 계단’ OST는 이러한 원작의 세계관을 기반하여 창작한 5개의 테마곡으로 구성되었다. 그 중 ‘시간의 끝에서’는 시간여행을 테마로 제작된 곡으로 은하(EUNHA)가 가창자로 참여했다. 작품 중 주인공 연아는 잘못된 과거를 바꾸고 첫사랑을 구하기 위해 여러 차례 시간을 거슬러 올라간다. 죽음을 결심하고서라도 사랑하는 사람을 구하기 위해 시간의 계단을 오를 때의 주인공의 마음을 음악적으로 표현하고자 한 곡이다. 감성적이고 차분한 내적 고백이 상큼하고 몽환적인 사운드와 대비되는 매력이 돋보인다.
한편 이번 프로젝트에는 은하(EUNHA), 에이핑크 김남주, 니브(NIve) 등 현직 아티스트와 콜라보하는 한편, 노래방 앱 서비스 썸씽(SOMESING)의 컨테스트를 통해 선발된 일반인 실력자들이 가수 데뷔의 꿈을 실현할 수 있는 장을 마련하여 의미를 더했다.

Source Music had schedules for them posted publicly far beyond the contract end, and HYBE was adding them to the HYBE museum. It’s Gfriend who didn’t sign, and both SM and HYBE promptly canceled all their public plans.
