Pravus: "this doesn't require anything prior to take advantage of", while hovering the cursor over the apiary that says: "this technology may need materials unlock by tech mining -> sand mining."
Hey Pravus , long time viewer and first time commenter! You have flax seeds already so all you need to do is set a crop for flax, then get weaving unlocked and you'll solve your clothing crisis!
Yeah, but please dont' t believe the myth that alcohol warms you up. It makes you feel warmer. By opening up veins and increasing blood flow. Making you lose heat even faster...
If you're accepting tips i got some Tents could be useful for what your doing right now (super far away hunter cabin) as its a mini house with no restriction with marketplaces. Although it might not be efficient to be going far away from storages. Its something. To have the correct villager working on the cabin, you can remove the villager working on it and then press the house nearest to the job. Press the target button next to the villager names and you'll fine a change profession on their ui. You can then turn them in to that laborer. Make sure no other jobs of the same type is open or else it might go to that job instead. (still not sure how to fully control labor management) Another thing you could do though is get the weaving research to use flax to turn to linen and feathers into better clothes. Make sure to check the materials required to make the building cause you may not have the resources to make said building. Though merchants will have a chance to have those resources, its expensive so be efficient with your choices.
Am I the only one screaming, "you have flax idiot!!!" He did called himself an idiot for not knowing that he DID have something else to do to get clothes.
Here before 1 minute and the second like. Yes. I love the content, Pravus. I found your videos looking for RimWorld videos, watched your entire RimWorld Zombieland series and loved it. Been here ever since.
You know from my understanding of what the English did for inland river trade boats were either gondola powered river boats so they can fit under bridges or the more ingenious had collapsible sails. The mast was on a hinge that allowed the sail to lay down under bridges. Of course the mast wasn't as long as the sea faring ships, nor as strong given the longer the mast the harder it is to hoist back into sail position but was a nifty little invention for river trade.
I found the best banished method is to build around marketplaces and put storage next to the output. It starts off for a nice base grid to work from and everyone around the market gets their needs met from the market reducing their movement.
mid to nowhere hunter. a house 1st, and small storage, gather a bit of mushrooms, add water to it... then, let him hunt. or he freezes and starves to death. the workers too
Pravus, send the children to the mines and bulk up that food with sawdust if they cant be happy now it don't matter if you treat them better than you would in frost punk. At least your not going to make Soilent white........... yet
It's funny how most of these game "needs" mods to make it really good, I feel like this game doesn't need mods for some reason, it already have a lot to try, like everything
I absolutely love Banished. Was up in the air about buying Settlement Survival. The reviews kind of made it sound disappointing. After watching part #1 and #2 I am convinced the negative reviews were from people who probably did not like Banished to start with.
Me: aaawww maaan... I want to love this game but I hate these bright playdough graphics so much. *hunter hoes a deer to death* me: _wheeeeeeez_ where's my credit card

I'm glad I wasn't the only one.
"You don't need clothes when you have Tequila."
Sound like a Saturday night to me.
Praise Pravus

Wow this is alot
19:56 when he says I don’t have Alpaca or sheep for cotton🤦🏼 when it’s wool from them , since cotton is from a plant .
I like how the goods can be made from multiple sources and not just one.
Am I the only one screaming, "you have flax idiot!!!" He did called himself an idiot for not knowing that he DID have something else to do to get clothes.
uhm sir that trading ship is in your docks... Sir that ship you wanted to arrive, has arrived. There needs to be a notification sound for that stuff
There was a notifcation but no sound
"My respect for these guys has grown immensely" mine would to of I saw someone walk up to a deer and kill them with a gardening tool

I don't remember what made me subscribe to him, but welcome to the cult.
Read the school description, it both makes more efficient workers and gives research.
Have you heard of this blue flower that makes super nice clothes that you currently have seeds for.
Lol you have empty fields and flax seeds. That's the start of clothing.
The Village has expanded

This makes me want to go back to find the Banished videos....well, why not! I've got a slow morning today!
watching this and my wife is sitting next to me screaming flax, everytime you mention clothes or textiles.
If you build a bridge it gives hunters more access to the mal and a higher chance to generate new animals

You know you pick up flax seeds in the first episode so try growing some but i can't remember if its block in the tech tree or not
Everyone knows that peasants hunt the most effectively with simple farming implements.
You set the maximum you want in storage (40) and the building tells you how much was produced (42).
Seems to be rather clear to me.
Game looks like alot of fun
Funny video. 😂 Really Enjoyable to watch.
just so you know you can use the flax your grabed to make clothes
just FYI
Hey Pravus, check your description! Your no Copy right infringement intended is for Rebel Inc not for Settlement Survival..
Additional happiness probably adds to population. So having tequila does make kids more likely. Very relatable.
Pravus sure loves his roads.
Praise Pravus
I’m so glad this series is back!!!
Good job pravus!
Try to store some surplus water so you can sell it
This game looks great . great video thanks for explaining everything
The TH-cam gods blessed me today when they suggested your channel 🙌🏻 I hit subscribe so quick mah dude 🙏🏻
You could grow thatch for clothes
growing the pravian empire
Brah. Keep this one going.
Pravus, send the children to the mines and bulk up that food with sawdust if they cant be happy now it don't matter if you treat them better than you would in frost punk. At least your not going to make Soilent white........... yet
Your gameplay is KILLING me!
I like the outro tune.
@Pravus Sheep or Alpaca do not produce cotton, it is a field grown resource much like silk is from silk worms.
SOWETH THINE FLAX GROWETH THINE CLOTHES

Connie, age 12 - Woodcutter. lmao ez labor
Thanks again :)
Try making some feed for the animals, to capture them
24:03 music sounds very familiar...
Do the llama's come with hats?
Love this series keep it up
why don't you grow flax, and make cloths out of that
Could you make this series longer min per vid wise ?
Your talking style reminds me of George Steinbrenner from Seinfeld. XD
more of this, please

Lots of tequila and no clothes? Sounds like a good way to increase population ;-)
IGP, is that you? Too god-damned similar
Do you remember what we get from eggs?
I hear so much banished, but I have no idea what that is.
Check out some game play videos on it and see if you like to buy/play it! It is on Steam.
You need flex and oats.
seems exactly like Anno 1880, only with better graphics.
Me: aaawww maaan... I want to love this game but I hate these bright playdough graphics so much.

You really like the name Darbyhillmontishire don't you Pravus?
WTF? These people start off able to smelt iron, but haven't mastered pottery?
Poor deer..
I hate how you can`t specify storage.... What if I only want 3000 fish in my storage....
could just plant flax and get a textile nd use linen......
I identify as a FAT-WORKER!...
Am i the only one having problems watching part 1?
not sure, we're still waiting for more responses from other people. for the time being though, i'm able to watch it.
"Worried about clothes"..... Unlocked flax, has workers, "Still worried about clothes"..... Whyyyyy ruin series with drama?
I regret buying this game. I wish there is goal or a win scenario rather than a sandbox and endless gaming
At a very young age they are alrdy starting to procreate, like bruh the female is 12.. either their still dating or i have some questions to the devs
when your average old age person dies at 30 , either due to bear attack or knife wound, then you have to start early.
How much did they pay you for the let's play
I heard that some of the TH-camrs got Eleventy-million dollars.
Bro are you Indian?

That was bad lol

You don't need to place hunting cabin so close to 🦙, the hunting cabin is global
It's funny because he SAID THAT in the last episode...
but they go to the closest hunting place
