Thanks so much!! I got some new VLAD headlights and this is the only installation video I needed (or could find). You rock. Would have been completely lost without this
Hi Mr. & Ms. Stang, first of all great work in upgrading your headlights. Those 13-14 lights are amazing for the S197 gen. Question on the missing brackets on the 13-14 HID lights to mount the 11-12 GT front bumper. Was the bumper stable without connecting to the headlights? You mentioned you were going to come up with a solution fot his missing part, are you able to share an image of what you ended up doing? Are we able to buy a custom bracket for these? Cheers,
@@MrMsStang Thanks for the quick reply! So you had these HIDs without a support bracket and the bumper is stable without being mounted on the headlights or tied to anywhere in the grille section? Do you still plan to troubleshoot to craft a custom bracket or will you just leave as is? Thank you,
@@MrMsStang oh ok, headlights would be fine but i was more concerned for the front bumper if it sags or not without the grill section mounting to the headlight/body. If you didnt have any issues then bumper should be fine without brackets! Cheers
@@Praetoricus oh okay I see yeah I have no problems closing my hood everything lines up fine. The grill won’t fall out it might move a little when the hood is popped. But that’s it
@@stevewasilow5556 I found the headlights on fb marketplace I know the cost of these new so I waited a long time to find a good deal on used oem pair. Totally worth it
They should definitely fit and if you bought oem headlights from a 13-14 and wanna put them on a 10-12 mustang you will need a harness for them to work
Hi, i checked out the guy you got your harness from but he stopped creating these harnesses , would you know anyone else that do same kind of job by any chance?
Hi, bob here, I have been watching this video because I am thinking about doing the same thing to my 2014 V6 only kind of in reverse. I want to put halogen headlights, the ones you took off in this video on my car. Were the ones you removed OE or aftermarket? OE are very expensive. Trying to create the look of the 69 mach 1 a tribute you might say. Will put in a GT fog light grille and halogen fog lights to match headlights. It should look like yours did in the start of the video as far as the grille goes. Do you still have those old headlights? Thanks for your time, Bob 😊
hey thanks for watching and everyone’s got there preferences, sounds like it’ll be a nice build when done! I do have the old headlights do you want to buy them? I also have the old taillights as well.
@@MrMsStang : in the orginal Mustangs right near the headlights Ford stylized 3 or 4 indentations that look like gills. Perfect for the 13-14 s197. I wonder why Ford didn’t include those.
Great video. Not 100% but it u use the stock harness on a 2011 wouldn’t just the led running lights not work. Thinking wiring for everything else would be identical on a 2011 with halogens

Thank you glad I could help!! Lemme know if you have any questions
All mustangs got the same side marker lights harness/ connector & it’s compatible with the LED one with the same plug
You are right I was missing the connection peace.
Thank you bro .. from 🇸🇦
Glad I could help let me know if you have any questions!

How did you add the 2nd pair of fog lights? Did you splice wires or is thier a harness plug n play? Love the look
You can splice cables to go with your upper fogs I added another relay to it as well .

Is your front bumper stock? or do you just swap it from 13 to 14 style?
The front bumper is a stock 2012 gt bumper with a boss 302 lower fascia and splitter but I sanded the plastic and color matched it as well.
i ordered one LED headlights that say they fit 2010-14. will they still fit the 12 without a harness?

Quick question for the part where you move to 180 do you rotate the harness or plug in the harness the other way ? I’m getting confused on that part
You just have to flip it. There should only be two ways to plug it in if you rotate it.
Does he have a website for the harness or just IG ?
I only know of his IG but shoot him a message he’s a good responder!
side markers have a flat little plug in, that flat piece plugs into what would normally be a halogen bulb. it sounds weird but trust me
I know I learned the hard way and threw them out by accident and had to buy new pieces
