AMYYY! Are you psychic?? AHAH I’m literally in the process of transitioning my 6 month old Nethie to an adult diet! (Also I just introduced parsley to him yesterday) My boy’s always been on timothy hay because that was what he was being fed when we got him :)) When we tried to give him alfalfa he didn’t seem to take to it (lots of mushy poop + cloudy pee) so we just gave him enough pellets which were alfalfa based. He’s taking to the diet changes REALLY well and really enjoys the fresh veggies more than his pellets!! I’ve reduced his alfala pellets to half a tablespoon twice a day + adding five little adult rabbit pellets along each time and he’s enjoying it! Once again, thanks for all the info!!

Coolio! if timothy hay works for your rabbit, then it's definitely keep him on it

Really useful content as always. Great Idea for a topic. I hope your channel matures and grows. This is content every rabbit owner should see. And of course, your bunny Ellie is priceless.

Hi, is it ok to give pellets that have a mix of timothy hay and alfalfa?

How do I know how much pellets to feed my bun? He’s a 4-month old 2 pound dwarf male. I’ve been feeding him 1/8 cup of alfalfa pellets but since everyone says to feed young rabbits unlimited pellets I’m not quite sure how to go about it. Does that mean I should probably feed him more pellets? (He’s also eating unlimited timothy meadow hay). 😊

My rabbit is 10 weeks old I always cared for him since he was born but, he always ate his oxbow since he was 6 weeks. He also started eating greens when he was 7 weeks he loves his greens I slowly give him different greens! But he doesn't eat his pellets anymore what should I do! Where I live we don't have the different type of hay! I ordered the pellets on Amazon!! I need help

      Try:
100% greens and just sprinkle a few pellets so that the bunny will just look for the pellets
After that, make the greens fewer and fewer and increase the pellets. ex. 90% greens + 10% pellets

Hi, I just got two Harlequin babies (couple weeks) from my dad's farm, they have their own outdoor hutch and I got them a water bottle, however they drank from bowls there and they haven't been drinking from it so I put a bowl in, is there any way to transition them to the water bottle?

drinking from bowls is more natural for rabbits and encourages better hydration, so I recommend continuing to leave the bowl's in there. You can still leave the bottle on the side to see if the rabbits get curious about it though.

It’s not a good idea to keep rabbits outside much less in a hutch, simply because they’re prey animals and they also need a lot more space to exercise. I recommend keeping them indoors in an X-pen ($35 on Amazon) at the very least or if you’re able to free-roam them that’s even better! :)
