I want to be the first to say that I was deeply saddened on the news of the death of Rabbi Sacks in the last 24 hours.
He was one of the great Jewish minds of our time, and we will miss him, his eloquence, and perhaps even his aspects of understated majesty and humility.

Great interview Tim. A beautiful conversation between two deep thinkers and leaders. May Rabbi Sack’s memory be a blessing and may his teachings continue to be an inspiration to all.

You were given a great merit to bring this side of Rabbi Sacks to view just before his passing. Thanks, Tim.

Im real happy i found this.
I believe a conversation between Rabbi Sacks and Mohammed Ali wouldve broken the Internet and advocated acceptance and peace like nothing ever has.
Two great minds open, accepting and loving!

Such a lovely person and convo. Rabbi Sacks has many great books and interviews, but I personally have "Dignity of Difference" & "The Great Partnership" which are legit and needed in today's climate. Thanks Tim and Rabbi Sacks!

Beautiful, inspiring and enlightening concept and ideal, the paradigm shift from I to we. And so relevant - thank you for sharing.
We should learn from and emulate and be grateful for and inspired by, the best of history and the past as much as we learn lessons from its worst aspects. That connection between I and we and awareness of and orientation towards the importance of the we, and of transcending mere individual self interest, convenience, satisfaction or agenda or gain, which prior generations admirably displayed, in war and peace alike, is an admirable part of history and the past and its past generations and values, that we should learn from and emulate today, and keep alive as a source of comfort, hope, strength, courage and inspiration, and as role models to emulate too.

I've been listening to Tim for 6 years now. Very insightful and detailed in his work. I would like to hear some conversations with eastern thought leaders like Sadhguru. I think having insight from the yogic perspective could be just as illuminating if not more so than an energy packed interview with Gary V.

1:22:30 Heartbreaking. Tim teases a second conversation, and Rabbi Sacks z"l says that he and his wife had just celebrated their 50th (golden) anniversary.
The magnitude of whom she and we have lost ... heartbreaking.

Funny that Tim is open to having a rabbi but would never have NT Wright or William Lane Craig. Weird and Buddhism and certain mystical elements of Judaism are “acceptable”....but Christians...naw
