That last dress looks lovely on you!! Once you have your hair and makeup done, bouquet in hand, your sorted…long sleeves can just get tuned up and tacked back. I wish you both well on your happy day! I’m almost 70 and bought my dress three years ago before covid hit, now it won’t fit! 😢 So! it’s a nightmare trying to find a less expensive dress to fit me for half hour registry time. Sigh..makes me so sad, as I don’t want to look like an old fogey, or wear “The brides mothers two piece outfit” I want a plus size 24 ivory dress, knee or mid knee length, long sleeves, lace /embroidery covering. Surely that isn’t impossible! Don’t really want my tum and bum sticking out, but hey! Sigh,….but so far no joy, I’m in the U.K. so don’t want to rush JJ’s coming from abroad, waiting, then it’s not right, etc etc.. Wish you could help me! Wish me luck girls ! Usually my partner helps me choose my clothes, but THIS time it’s unlucky! 😉😉🙋♀️😘😘💕💐👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍾🥂xxxxxx🥰
I wore an asos dress for my elopement wedding during the restrictions. I tried on a few of these dresses and some from monsoon, oasis, house of fraser etc and honestly I am so impressed with the quality of Asos dresses. A really good option for a bride on a budget!
I would recommend Monsoon for wedding dresses, I got mine from there and loved it! Good quality but still affordable which is ideal for a dress you’ll only wear once!
The third dress was gorgeous on you! I love how it wasn't traditional white/ivory either! My wedding dress came from Wed2Be back in 2015. It was £449 back then so I'd say definitely budget friendly too, though I think they may have upped their prices a bit since then. It's worth looking them up though as my dress looked an awful lot more expensive than it was! Xxx
You look stunning in then all!! You have such a beautiful shape! However I don't think you can beat the one you tried on in the last wedding dress video 😍 In regards to the fit of the dresses, I would always recommended getting your wedding dress altered to be your perfect fit, even if you bought a high street dress. It's the one time your dress should be personalised to the perfect fit! And it is defo worth the money to feel so good and comfortable all day in it! It makes such a difference. Maybe asos have allowed for more space in the sizes to allow for alterations?
Me and my spouse really appreciated that you referred ppl who would potentially like the dresses with they/them/theirs pronouns! ❤️ Not everyone who would like to wear a dress on their wedding day is a woman, thank you for using inclusive language ❤️
The last dress was my exact wedding dress 🌸 Why didn’t you pull up the white tank top part underneath the lace bodice? It’s not supposed to be see through 😊
I tried dress number 1 and 4. Number 1 was the same with me, huge on top and a lot of the reviews said the same. Number 4 fit me well but felt so so cheap and sheer. I bought numerous dresses from asos and sent them all back, I felt the quality and/or fit was so poor for the price. I ended up getting a dress from Amazon! The Ever Pretty range if anyone is interested. Much better quality and fit, and so much cheaper!
Princess gown is definitely my fave! So stunning on you and looked like a bridal gown. The rest looked more like either nightdresses in their style or looked cheap to me but obviously everyone has their own preferences and what matters is what you love! I can't wait to see your wedding dress you're going to wear on your big day! I'm planning a last minute wedding for this year in October time and am yet to visit the shops but after this week that's next on the agenda! Wed2b is a great one for cheaper wedding dresses that you can take away the same day so if you have one near you I'd recommend giving it a go! ❤️
@@HomeWithShan I am so, so excited. I’ve done so much already in such a short amount of time. You’ll be surprised how much you can get done quickly! We’re definitely also a bit conscious of everything going on with Covid. At the moment I’m not sure it’ll go ahead because we won’t go ahead if the masks and distancing become mandated again as we really don’t want a reminder of it all in our pictures forever as it’s been really hard and traumatising for a lot of people 😓 I’m keeping my fingers crossed though! ❤️❤️❤️ xx
I think you looked great in all of them ... they just needed a little tweak to bring them in here and there to fit to your shape which is where a bridal shop fitting comes in great. As the right dress makes you feel like a bride and you just don’t want to take it off. dresses 2 and 3 adjusted 💕 will do the job for you though
Last is good Nude dress is great too . Remember once u wear a dress ,you will feel its the one for you. I had that feeling when I tried mine on.mind you I tried soooo many at the shop. Its was instant feeling you will get.
Wed2be is beautiful. I got married on Friday and got a dress from there, I received sooooo many compliments! They start from £99… granted the one I got was £600 but they do have cheaper ones x
Loved this video! I think the nude is my absolute favourite. If the underskirt was fitted more like a fishtail on you I would say it’s perfect! You have such a nice shape, show it off 💕 looking fab in all though. I’ve heard people talk about Wed2b I think it’s called online? Might be worth a look 🙂 xx
You are going to be the most beautiful bride 😍 I got my wedding dress from Asos and I felt like a princess! It was so budget friendly and I had alterations done to make it fit me perfectly. 🥰💛
I'm so confused about the last one. It showed a spaghetti strap under dress when held up, but then when on it was just a bra underneath? Was the underdress see through, or accidentally not pulled up when getting dressed, or?? The nude one als confused me a bit. Looked like the cups and waist needed to be a bit lower, and the open back as well 😅 I thought I'd get clarification from reading comments, but I can't find any on either topic 😅
The last dress on the hanger seemed to have a spaghetti strap kinda top under the see-through layer, what's up with that? Because I didn't see that on you when you wore it. I'm thinking about that dress as my wedding dress, that's why I'm asking.
I hope those frumpy dresses were returnable. I'd never pay 1,000 Pounds for that cheap-looking lot. The train on #2 looks like one of Grandma's lace curtain panels sewn onto a dead-plain skirt.

Hehe I have to say the other dresses were 100% better than these ones, but it was a fun video to make none the less! Xxx

The number 2 dress with a bling bridal belt - you're good to go.
The nude dress is gorgeous and fits you perfectly but not sure if it's bridal enough
The fourth dress looks so cute on you
I tried dress number 1 and 4. Number 1 was the same with me, huge on top and a lot of the reviews said the same. Number 4 fit me well but felt so so cheap and sheer. I bought numerous dresses from asos and sent them all back, I felt the quality and/or fit was so poor for the price.

honestly, I liked the third dress the absolute most on you ❤️❤️❤️
The second one looked kinda cheap 🙈
Still thinking the 1st one in the last video ✨ you look like a princess and I can’t wait to see your wedding day 💖 Do a charity shop one!!!!

Last is good
Nude dress is great too .

You look amazing in all of them, but number 2 is by far my fave❤️
Ahh thank you lovely!! Xxx
Love the 3rd dress 🥰, you look amazing such a bargain too, can’t understand why people spend £100,s on a dress .
Hiya they all look lovely but number 2 and the nude 1 are beautiful on you x

Look amazing in all but definitely dress 2!🥰 SHEIN do cheap wedding dresses for another video option😊

This blue green top gives you beautiful eyes 👌
I vote for the 3rd dress! For the top, you can put some doubled sided strip tape to stick it in place so u will feel more secure...:-)
Can you do a video trying on wed2be dresses? I've heard so many mixed reviews about the place and I'm very intrigued. Love your videos! Xxx
Number 2 definitely😍😍 maybe you could use it as a reception dress!
The Annie floral 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Only just seen your reaction to it haha 🤣🤣 but you do look beautiful in it xxxx

It does have a tank top thingy underneath. That was my wedding dress. Definitely recommend.
