Dear Friends,
I had hoped to publish this elaboration of Oliver's journey in 'Enterprising Engines', but I am afraid the Publishers did not approve!
Nevertheless, I was adamant to write more about his escapades on The Other Railway. So I wrote this book, to tell you how he did it!
Donald & Douglas were clamouring for some time in the lime-light too - they argue their 'escape' from Scotland was quite heroic too! I was quite doubtful at first; but their story seems to be equally as riveting!
