A Drone's Eye View of NYC's Hidden Ocean World: Photographing & Protecting the New York Seascape

Artist and conservation advocate Sutton Lynch dedicates his work to showcasing the wonders of New York's underwater world by drone: sharks of all kinds, menhaden, tuna, billfish, even whales. His message is clear: “I love the ocean and I want to see it healthy.” One thing we can do, he says, is protect the Hudson Canyon in order to protect the entirety of the New York seascape.
This story is a part of the Wildlife Conservation Society's effort to designate the Hudson Canyon as a National Marine Sanctuary.
