My only issue with the void is the number of keys you get, have to be really picky with which loot boxes you open, which can really make the grind last a bit too long, I feel like 12 encrypted keys would have been a better reward allowing you to open more chests per run, other than that it's a fun mission and I like the overall aesthetic of the void vessel, boss battle is a little bit easy but that is also a good thing with this being a long grind

So I usually just open 4-5 Special and 0-1 Genetic boxes, because the chance for the ultimate food is EXTREMELY rare, no point target farming it honestly.
2:32 Focus on Tech is better than Power Increase in this context because you need to cycle your Ult at least twice in the boss fight. The CD reduction is a lot more valuable than the 1-ish% damage increase.
It's more fun than the invasions but once you learn all the paths and grind a while we'll see. Another thing to note is the Void Vessel mission boss and crates give the materials to craft Catalysts. If you don't have a tricked-out Enzo yet but if you have Bunny or Freya even the non-ultimate's you can speed run VV mission to get Catalyst mats. Pretty much by the time you farm the dog then Keelan you will have most or all of the CC mats pre-farmed sans the CC blueprints. You will also have a stack of BPs to sell to ETA-0.

Curious. Why use *_High Voltage Plasma_* on the Voltia When the Legion of Darkness are weak to ice and not use *_Supercooled Plasma_* along with chill focus rounds in the Inversion Reinforcement?
I received entirely too much gold from the genetic chests. I use freyna with voltia, enduring legacy and thundercage. Thundercage I use just for ammo stack on my el. I'll pop my 4 with volcia equipped. I've learned that if you shoot the white dots on the pilon, you can break the shield incredibly fast
There's another chest room before your location #1. When you first enter that conveyor room jump down on the left side to a platform moving towards you and drop off after breaking the barrier. I don't think it's worth the time it takes, but it's there.

Don't forget: Completion rewards are significant as well as if you want to quit mat farming for murky residue, blue brains, macro biogel, and one other (forget off the top of my head), the boss drops a bunch of those. No need to split farm anymore. Unfortunately you kept cutting your boss defeats before they all displayed.
I've been losing full trying to farm Keelan and the dog. I keep getting 100k gold, and i already have 400m, so it's pretty "useless" for me rn. I have 1 dog part and 4 of the same keelan parts😅 The "upside" is i still need a few more missions to get all the mats for the dog.

If I could highly recommend another descendant, Sharen is amazing at clearing the Void Vessel, both her builds utilizing her new ascendant modules can clear it pretty efficiently, and makes minsemeat of the final boss. She can also utilize her invisibility to get out of tricky situations.
ALL chests mats should have a chance to also drop upon completion. Unless I am mistaken, there is no justified reason to complete the mission once you unlock the doggo and Keelan. Yes, you can sell the BPs to ETA but you burn a key better suited to chests.
Once people actually unlock keelan from this then he is actually insane for clearing this which tbh the dog food farm takes twice as long as the other 2 combined anyway but my absolute top time when I was just stacking keys was 5.01 standard closer to 5.20 a more normal run where I use all my keys averages 6.30 ish so he is actually insane for farming this which is ironic since you need to unlock him from it

Experimental gives mats Genetic gives the blueprint. You get 6 keys on Boss kill. They carry over the next mission. Edit: yeah Special gives the dog xp mats, not Experimental

I assume he's not using contagion because contagion makes Freyna's dots deal less damage in exchange for insane spread. If his spread is already good enough with maximize range, it's better to do high dot damage so mobs and final boss die even faster.
SPS on non-impact is almost not worth it, you basically gain nearly nothing and if you do have to stop shooting for any reason its a massive dmg loss. I recommend SPS but only on impact weapon.
My only complaint is its much harder on coop than solo. So I just solo because the one time I queued we failed on boss no reward. They need to buff how hard it is on solo, I don't mind failing but it makes no sense why its easier when you are on your own.
They specifically said that they weren't going to nerf Freyna, but rather buff the characters who needed it, while making content more favorable to other descendants. Keelan is the fastest at clearing void vessel rn, with Valby, Sharen and Viessa all pulling similar clear times as Freyna.

I mean, Freyna is the queen of clearing out a lot of enemies fast from a pretty safe spot, and as long as there is horde clearing content, Freyna is basically gonna keep that title without much challenge, yes yes Bunny is also a room clearing, but she has the downside of having to jump into the enemies to do so.
i usually do 50 of the Ion things then 500 of the other a day. if you do the inversion dungeons every day it covers the cost. Though i agree, purely unneeded costs when you have to do it for multiple toons.
Void vessel is cool, but the boss fight is nasty, sometimes I’m put with people who under stand and other times it’s like playing with noobs who power leveled and absolutely does not understand the game or at the very least, just the simple mechanics. With that said I DO understand it’s a brand new game mode and no two gamers are the same. lol I’m just sayin what we’re all thinking

The boss's loot box uses a key just so y'all know. So if you have keelan and doggo. You're probably best off skipping it..
