Toured the factory whilst living in Scotland. Beautifully and carefully crafted by people who are passionate about piping. The bellows are a work of art. The pipes sound just as good as they look. I particularly appreciated the drone switch feature when starting out. One can't go wrong with these pipes. I'm very happy after two years of ownership.

I have the mouth blown set. I added an extra level of moisture control; a water bottle trap at the blowpipes stock. Anyway, the set is simply amazing in build quality and tone. Currently using an EJ Jones reed. As long as I keep the moisture control in check the reed never gets wet.

I just got a set, they are beautifully made and sound amazing. The bellows are a bit to get use to, but in less than two weeks I'm playing a few easy tunes. One thing that has changed from what is shown in the video is the chanter has a split stock, so when, or if, you need to remove the chanter the reed is fully protected. The set also comes with a chanter reed cap and drone plugs, which, with the drone switch aren't really necessary, but you have them just in case. I did have to adjust the drone reeds a bit as they were prone to stopping, but it wasn't any harder to do than on my Highland pipes.

I’m totally new to the Small Pipes. I do play at Bass Guitar, Fiddle and other instruments. I just hooked everything up and found it hard to get a constant sound out of it. The bag was taunt but I couldn’t get a sustained sound from the chanter. I guess it’s going to take while to get used to everything. Thanks! 😎

I've just brought a set of these. I can't recommend them highly enough. They are absolutely beutiful.
If you're thinking about getting a set, stop thinking and just buy them. I promise that you won't regret it.

I’m getting a set of the A/d combo pipes in a few days. They’ll be my first set of bellows pipes. I’ve been playing the highland pipes for almost 7 years and was just looking for some tips on transitioning to bellows. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Can you list the actual other note values when smallpipes are tuned to 440A? Trying to conceptually understand how you would colaborate with other instruments...

basically all 9 notes lie within the scale of natural A that any other instrument plays. Ie: concert pitch

Hi I have the same set and it sounds amazing. But my barritone is tuned to D. It was sent to me tuned like that. Should the barritone not be tuned on an E? Does anybody have the same?

Beautiful sound, but ~30 cents flat compared to concert pitch.
