After seeing the episode before this I finally understand the line of those people after he walks out of the store.First time I saw the Ministry of Sill Walks skit I had no idea why they were there.
@MillBelater Actually, the Pythons never used a laugh track (except sometimes as an obvious parody in sketches). The laughter in the shows are from a studio audience (though I agree, sometimes here it sounds almost like canned laughter).
word of warning:dont attempt to do a silly walk ala john cleese in the mall.you will get stared at lol I wish there was a ministry of silly walks.... terrys just such a good pepperpot lol Smile,Jesus loves you
When John leaves us one day, I hope his walk through the Ministry of Silly Parrots will become his legacy.
Arthur Pewtey needs a silly walk in order to become a more effective lion tamer.
I like the shock absorbers on the vintage model european monarch.
Probably the best episode ever.
I can't imagine if everyone was doing silly walks all the time! There'd probably be also a silly walk marathon!
That sounds like an Olympic event
CLASSIC!
now I get the "line of gas-men" .. =)
So many extras in one sketch.

In my opinion this episode links the single sketches way better than any episode in season one.
@greg5566 Cleese was perfect for the sketch, with those 2-yard legs of his.
The sad thing is that it really happens when you install new appliances in your house. All that paperwork sheesh!!!
The sketch is right out of "How to Irritate People" in spirit.
I walked just like John when I worked in my dull office jobs to add some excitment and orginality😂😅 it was fun😹
The best
I want my own "Royalty-copter"
"I'd like to give some blood please. Whaaaarr"
Valerie Simone I'd like the Chester drawers
That's just plain silly. Never have that in the army
Traté de hacer el paso de Cleese. . .casi me saco la cadera. ..😆😔👀😉

how the hell do his legs bend like that?
I love these guys :)O
Mr. Pewty also appears in the "marriage counselor" sketch.
Do the silly walks have anything to do with Shellshock?
6:22 I knew Michael's character seemed similar to the one from the Marriage Counsellor sketch, but it's the same one, Arthur Pewty.
Out of her mind...
