I personally think people who have a lot of negative things to say about this lens didn't use it with the right camera . It is an Apsc lens , so it will give the best result when used on the apsc sensor . This is the advantage Apsc cameras have over fullframe cameras . You can use a fullframe lens on Apsc sensor and get an incredibly sharp result, but you can't get the same result when you use an apsc lens on a fullframe camera . I have a yongnuo 50mm f1.8 for apsc . It is incredibly sharp on my Apsc camera, but it's soft whenever i use it on a fullframe camera . Your video is awesome , keep it up, man .
Lenses are extremely budget friendly. These lenses have 1.2F and auto-focus with this price. However, it should also be taken into consideration that the lenses cause visible chromatic abberation and focus breathing is a bit annoying. Thanks for the detailed explanation video. There are lots of footages to see the performance of the lenses. Good job!
Just bought the Sirui 56 mm F1.2 lens & coming across this video & seeing the test footage has me even more hyped to get started on my camera. 🔥🔥 Thank You
Bro, nice work! I've been looking for a good review with realistic sample vids for a long time now. Your vid does a great job covering what I'm looking for. Thanks for making the vid. Good stuff! I will definitely be buying the Sirui!
I can't wait to try this on a Z7. Over all, I really liked your review. Nothings perfect, but when your looking for a particular look on a low budget, these are it for now.
Loved this review, everyone saying sigmas are better, maybe they are, but i mean the look you got here seems like a movie, i don't recall watching sigma footage like this, i could be wrong, but this got me wanting these siruis badly...
likw the video but I wish when you did the low light test you would have show the iso of natural with non and then both iso levels so we cld see how well the lenses T1.2 actually were
yo I almost prefer the look of them on FF! slight vignette and curvature at the edges gives sexy character! Cinema character with Autofocus and works both on ff if ya add active steady shot and with crop sensor! the dream! Appreciate that you show how they look on FF!
Maybe the quality of light was different but they didn't really sing on the full frame, still very nice though. The footage on the fx30 was absolutely stunning, it really took away the overly crisp look it has, which ive noticed on mine... Sold!!!!!
@@mcewan-media i always set the sharpness to -7 in all my cameras, it helps a lot, and i dont need to put a promist or a glimmerglass every time, how about the autofocus? Here in this video seems quite bad 🥺
The aberration was appearrant indoors in a way that kind of bothered me. The outside work on both cameras has damn near sold me. I am new to the fx30 and back on the sony system overall so I have a lot of gaps to fill in for my own research but this was an excellent example of the power of this combo@@AlexDon
Having black or, grey or dark lenses have a meaning! When you go to a shooting you want to reflect as less as possible on a shot! that's the reason many photographers also use dark clothes.
That's like a biker shaving their arms to cut their times by like a fraction of a fraction of a second. The difference is miniscule unless the competition is insanely close. If you are that pro, that a nearly insignificant amount of light reflecting on the shot would ruin it, you're not buying these lenses in the first place.
Looking to purchase my first cinema lens/kit, it's between these and the nightwalkers, I prefer the look of the NW but for the same price we add autofocus? It's a no brainier. Thanks for the in depth performance test!
I would say get the 33mm sniper to compliment the nightwalkers because it’s more versatile and you could use the autofocus while shooting something when pulling focus is difficult.
I think you watched the video in 360p 😂 they are in focus, you can check the raw files here drive.google.com/drive/folders/1i7MVZJxabJghpXc-Q2iLhLjbHL6k5H04
Have you tested them to say this? I'm pretty sure not, but here is the raw footage out of the camera using these lenses to see I'm not talking shit drive.google.com/drive/folders/1i7MVZJxabJghpXc-Q2iLhLjbHL6k5H04?usp=share_link
I got the chance to test them from a friend and I can tell that for amount of money… you can’t get any better. Ok, the’re not Sony GM lenses but c’mon, they cost as much as the lens caps and the pouch from a GM lens 🤪

Bro! Thank you for an honest review. Everyone is WAY too caught up in the technical stuff- these images are amazing.

Amazing review!! The image looks great.
Just got the 75mm f1.5 and goes so well w my a6700! Love it so far amazing for low light
This video is insane! Thanks for the detailed explanation.
That was a really cool intro! I'm not very good at editing to music but I definitely could take a couple tips from this short intro
Bre tu erai de pe la noi? Mi-am dat seama abia cand am vazut CFR-ul😂 Foarte bun video!
Waiting on my 23mm. Great review brother 🔥
How is it? I’m about to pull the plug on these
I can't wait to try this on a Z7. Over all, I really liked your review. Nothings perfect, but when your looking for a particular look on a low budget, these are it for now.
If it didnt have all that dang chromatic aberration, I WOULD LOVE THEM!!!
Yes very noticeable

Nice video. Can these lenses be paired with Sony ZV E10?
they have e mount
This is a FANTASTIC video!!! Thank you very much!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Seems like you crop less than 1.5. Looks really good. 🙌🏼
In a full frame with a little crop... yes, thats the way !
How much more would you have to crop in post with active steady shot turned on on the fx3?
Awesome VIDEO!
likw the video but I wish when you did the low light test you would have show the iso of natural with non and then both iso levels so we cld see how well the lenses T1.2 actually were
it has quite a purple border when the contrast is high.

Whats the difference betewn sniper and nightwalker series apart to auto focus
yes
Great video. Thank you.
Can you still manual focus with the focus ring if you want a more "organic" look? is the manual ring still good?
Ho, Thanks for your video. If you have to buy just one lens which one do you recommend? Thanks for your help 🤝
perfect video👍🏻
I'm using an A7S3 camera, but why is there a vignetting effect on the screen?
The a7s3 is full frame, these are made for a cropped sensor. Did you watch the part where he uses these with his fx3? Same sensor as a7s3
Bune, impresionantă calitatea. Ce crezi despre setul de la Samyang V-AF ?
These are my next set
hey Alex, i’m sure you used an ND filter for these shots, just curious as to which you used ?
They look great
this this lens crop on fx30?
Maybe the quality of light was different but they didn't really sing on the full frame, still very nice though. The footage on the fx30 was absolutely stunning, it really took away the overly crisp look it has, which ive noticed on mine... Sold!!!!!
but the fx30 is sharper than the fx3
. I have the 23mm and it really helps to take the edge off the fx30
@@mcewan-media i always set the sharpness to -7 in all my cameras, it helps a lot, and i dont need to put a promist or a glimmerglass every time, how about the autofocus? Here in this video seems quite bad 🥺
@@crystal.argentina mine is set to that aswell
Perfect 🤩
Can you tell what configuration you set on the fx30 for these outdoor shutting, please?
Sure, here are my settings: 4k at 60 fps with Aperture at F1.2 and Shutterspeed at roughly 1/5000 with ISO 800.

bro i have zve10 ii which is the perfect lens
People complaining these are “soft” for stills, i love them for cinematography.
Is it just me bothers that the manual focus works in the opposite way like on the sony lenses?
Hi, does the 23mm have a dust and moisture seal?
No
Hi just wanted to know can we shoot food videos with these lenses? Please let me know
🙏 thanks
Yes of course, you can film anything you want with them, the lenses are great!
Thank you so much
You made this video in Hungary ?
I filmed in my hometown, Cluj Napoca, which is in Romania.
Nu mi am dat seama ca ești roman pana nu am văzut cfr ul în spate 🤣🤣
BEST!!
I think I speak for everybody when I say you need more lights in your background😅
FCKING AWESOME BRO
Beautiful…
Do they have a full frame option for the FX three
Love u sir 💖
These* lenses, but I’m pretty sure it was intentional 😂🌹

yo why is he starring that hard 😆Great image tho
super!!!
unfortunately, Lightroom not recognize these Sirui Lenses

Ummm, none of these are in focus at f/1.2 like not even close. wow....

Never gave the cost
USD 350 each.
This lenes is sigma killers
All lenses look the same these days, clinical.
bro wtf you shooting only scrubbed shots of a man's waist, I would like to see how they shoot full-length
These lens are NOT worth the money. They really dropped the ball with them. You can really tell who got paid to promote them.
