Well, I myself was in National Cadet Corps (NCC) from 1986-1990, and I am an NCC "C" Certificate holder (Army Wing) with "A" grading and, by then I was holding the highest NCC Cadet rank of a Senior Under Officer (SUO). I had got the "C" Certificate in the year 1990. This is just one part. The other part is, that my late mother served in the NCC till the time she got retired from this organisation in 1997. My sister, my wife & my sisters-in-law, all were in NCC, and all of them are NCC "C" Certificate holders. I can therefore, most convincingly say, that there is NO ANY DISADVANTAGE in joining the NCC. It is a wonderful organisation, which provides excellent opportunities, experience & exposures to the NCC Cadets. The content of this video is good & informative, but the 'caption' is absolutely WRONG & MISLEADING because there is "NO DISADVANTAGE" in joining the NCC. It is always & always advantageous to join the NCC. Such WRONG & MISLEADING captions are potent enough to demotivate the young students/youths & such has the potential of disuading the youths from joining this fantastic organisation. Please therefore, ABSTAIN from using any such derogatory, WRONG & MISLEADING caption(s) about the NCC.
There is no disadvantages of joining NCC i was a NCC cadet and participated RDC 2015 and 2023 representing NER dte now i m preparing for SSB. It motivated me to join the army. ❤

I was in Scouts in 9th and 10th std. Though Scouts Training was not that much harder comparing to NCC still I'm proud that I was also an Integral part of the Society as a Scouts Cadet🤗 Jai Hind🇮🇳 Jai NCC Jai Scouts🙌

My school was giving opportunity to enroll in NCC but i didn't enrolled and even i will not enroll now. My Female friends joined because they thought they will get a job after training NCC camps. I use to participate in Army development camps for defense kids of 1 month when i use to live in Army cantt and that was Equivalent to NCC training and campings. Best thing of such 1 month camps is kids get a good exposure,learn new skills like cookings,Making tents,hiking,swimming,Trekking and Making tools and many other personal skills in 1 month and We also meets Airforce and navy personal's kids .
Now a days NCC is waste , bcoz most of the young are looking for abroad carrier For those who looking for armed forces before it was very useful for joining as a jawan but now its agniveer just graze mark will get don't need to waste your 3 years of campus life for 4 years in army , at the end of the day the mark only matters
One more disadvantage- study disturbance and class shortage . A Cdt who r suffering from home sickness ,they can't adjust in the Ncc cmp. . Sensitive person can't join ncc because of army and sinior stick rules and ragda .

I'm a first year student,joined the class for 1 and half month and after giving the test I'm selected though my height is a bit problem but i passed all and I'm selected but as I've been watching the classmate of mine she doesn't attends the class after joining and training isn't much hard but is intense according to my stamina. And he easily selected offline exam because he have extra 6 bonuy no in merit and also he easily join chilka if he medically fit ,, This my personal experience..

I never joined NCC but soon be joining the army. I've cleared all the tests.
TBH It all comes down to person's education and knowledge
Joining NCC is the best thing one can do in his school life. There are no such disadvantages or regrets that you will have. I can vouch for it.
