This was an amazing field show! The tribute to MJ was everything! I appreciate the transitions in the medley and the dances by each Drum Major! Of course the J- Settes choreography, their transitions, and stunts to an iconic song like Beat It… just next level. Their uniforms with the J …. Original and Beautiful! They shined on that field!
Malikah ate up this routine. She's such a well rounded dancer & has so much swag. She's great on field & in stands. I hope she gets Captain b4 graduating.
Why do all J-Sette routines look the same this year? I believe the Band Director is rushing them through different songs each week. As a result, they end up repeating field shows because there isn’t enough time to choreograph quality and fresh routines.
The J-Settes' routine lacks versatility and creativity; this routine was an unoriginal rehash of their previous performances this year. While the song selection may vary, the choreography remains disappointingly redundant. If you have seen one J-Sette routine this year, you have seen them all. The male JSU Drum Majors should step in and teach the J-Settes some actual dance skills, as Chloe is failing to do so. Their halftime performances follow a predictable pattern-transitions, hitting the ground, tricks, and stunts, then repeating-making it evident that innovation is desperately needed.
Good Job Boom, The J5 killed it… umm Jsettes the uni was cute🤷🏾♂️. First off, they looked cramped the routine was predictable..idk I was expecting more. Whats crazy is i looked the song choice just not the routine

The J-Settes' performance to "Beat It" missed the mark and didn't capture the audience's attention as hoped. Michael Jackson epitomized the art of dance, captivating audiences with his iconic moves. In contrast, J-Settes focus exclusively on transitions, tricks, and stunts, rather than dance.
The J-settes perform the same choreography to different songs, which shows a lack of creativity in their routines. Dr. Little should have chosen either "Jam" or "Workin' Day and Night" for their performance.

I didn't LOVE it either. It was a little too arm-heavy for me, and they didn't ride the groove enough. I loved the entrance and ending concepts, though. It was too busy in the middle, tho. You don't have to make your hands/arms hit every beat. Sit in the pocket of the song. That said, I didn't hate it. It's just not one of my favorites.
