I have systemic scleroderma and I will confirm this video is very accurate thank you for giving correct information and making it simple enough for us to explain to your typical person
@Tony sabroso A Rheumatologist diagnosed me at 14yrs old I’m a rare case being a male and young when diagnosed nonetheless I had very heavy treatment at first and over time my treatment has now only been to target certain symptoms I still have I believe being young helped me if I was older I believe o would’ve been in a worse situation
This is a superb video. Very useful for all in understanding these problems.. I would be pleased to see this shown to all newly diagnosed patients, gives a good overview. Clear information and explanation. Great Resource.
Do Yogasan 1 hour daily especially lungs exercise. Don't come in contact with cold weather directly and drink plenty water and eat turmeric, ginger, dry food,Ashwagandha these are the best alternative to treat PSS and one more things try to avoid milk and milk products at least 4 months
I have Limited Scleroderma. 😢 It's really an awful disease. I hope scientists, pharmaceuticals please find a medication to stop the collagen over production. 🙏🏼 There's nothing yet. It's a complex disease and so misunderstood yet. Hopefully soon? Scientists can find medications to really stop 🫷 this disease. 🙏🏼
In Ayurved, Scleroderma is correlated with “Uttana Vatarakta” that causes imbalance of dosha, dhatu, & dushya. The imbalance of three doshas (vata, pitta, & kapha) is responsible for the scleroderma
My thoughts are with all the people suffering from this horrible disease. Somebody I know has recently been diagnosed with scleroderma and it’s the most traumatic thing that’s ever happened in our lives. Please have an extensive read about Helminthic therapy.
I'm a 20yr old male with cracking joints, deteriorating eyes, and calcium buildup under the already dry skin on my knees and chin/center neck.. at this point I don't know what the cost of these 'rare case treaters' are and I'm already anxious the way it is with how far it has seemingly progressed....
If PM-Scl is positive on ENA test but ANA test is negative. Does it mean the person has scleroderma? Symptoms are limited to Raynaud's and blood vessels only. No skin related issues are there at all. Does it mean that there is presence of another disease that mimics scleroderma?
If you find out PLEASE let me know. I have zero symptoms of scleroderma and still tested positive for Antiscl-70 antibodies. I don’t even get Reynolds’s at all.
Living with MS is terrible but thankGod for making me Negative of MS recently, after I meant a channel on TH-cam ( Dr mason channel )...thank you Doctor
I had Renauds gor many now i been diagnosed of systemic antibodies my fingers splits under the nails i tought i had fungal nails infection im suffering of pain they put me on steroids recently thank for some of info
Hi, I have many symptoms with positive Ana cytoplasmic staining but neg Ena panel. I have Reynauds and alot of nail issues as well. Not sure if its fungal but almost feels like the sidewalls of my nails are always infected or something and my nails are growing into my skin if that makes sense. I kept going to hand surgeon for ingrowns but they said they arent ingrown nails. its always on sides of thumb nails and painful.
Yes, you can massage but I think that it hurts to touch my hands and feet. I use a heating pad when I don't realize that I have let my hand and/or feet get too cold. I find that it is difficult to get out of the Reynaud condition. Be preventive. Keep your hands, feet warm. Don't be uncomfortably warm, try 98 degree warm. Do whatever you can to feel better but prevention is best.
