Nice video! But it's all about the old and traditional part of Xi'an, in fact the modern Xi'an also is beautiful, especially Jinye Rd, which is the new CBD of the city. I hope I can see a second part of your video about Xi'an.
China - A beautiful nation, with a messed up blend of capitalism and communism, and the strangest excuse of a language. Ever. I can ignore the communist/capitalist blend, but I can't ignore the language. "An educated Chinese person will know about 8,000 characters, but you will only need about 2-3,000 to be able to read a newspaper." In contrast with English, and it's 26 letters. Think thats bad? "Altogether there are over 50,000 characters, though a comprehensive modern dictionary will rarely list over 20,000 in use." No matter how you look at this, whether it be 50,000 or 20,000 or 8,000 or 3,000 or 2,000, that's a rediculous number of characters. I guess it doesn't help that almost no words in Chinese are over 3 syllables long, and most words, when said in a different tone, mean something completely different! Like, for example: "Can I get some ice in my cup?" "No sir, I do not have a disease." Maybe i'm being one sided here. If anyone from China would happen to have any tips for learning Chinese that may make learning the different tones or multiple thousands of characters easier, please let me know! I'd love to learn your language and I'd certainly love to learn more about China!

Man! I was just there in Xi'an 3 weeks ago, the Bell Tower/Drum Tower. Muslim Quarter ( delicious food ) Dayan Pagoda, City Wall and so on. I really like Xi'an over Beijing. will be going back again next year.

西安是个值得一去的城市，大唐不夜城的夜景美轮美奂，明代城墙也十分壮观。城区的各个景点都还不错，只是细节和基础设施需要优化。生活在成都，去西安旅游的时候可以明显感觉到两个城市的差距，西安的司机会主动礼让行人这一点很让人感动，但是西安的城市面貌比成都感觉要差很多，很多地方感觉像是县城的水平。真心希望西安越来越好，但是在经营主要景区的同时也要注重其他区域的景观规划。

Thanks for commenting. Chinese isn't easy to learn, best way to learn is to probably live there or have Chinese speaking friends.

Man! I was just there in Xi'an 3 weeks ago, the Bell Tower/Drum Tower. Muslim Quarter ( delicious food ) Dayan Pagoda, City Wall and so on. I really like Xi'an over Beijing. will be going back again next year.
