another thing you can do is splice your lights onto your fog lights so you wouldn't need that fuse stickling out your fuse box only thing is the raptor lights will be on and off same time as your fog lights, personally i used a t splice connector and has been working just fine
I just completed this install on my 4runner and had some issues with the fuse system that came with my box. Worked some magic and got them up and running and love they way they turned out.
Wanted to shoot you an idea. When I get parts that I'm thinking it will eventually peal or fade, I send them before installation to a powder coating company. Today powder coats have multiple colors and flake in the coatings. It will not rub offbir beat off with a hammer. Fading will not happen. It's worth the extra 150 bucks
Looks like they got rid of the TRD pro grill on the website - guessing I can buy the stealth grill and letters now? Toyota probably sent them a cease and desist or something
@T4Rgarage it took almost 3 weeks for them to drop my grill/raptor lights off to fedex. Didn't get my stuff in time for Christmas. Just ordered fog lights from Yotaverse yesterday, they'll be here in a few days. 😁 and that's coming from Canada going to Florida.
Dude what is the part number of that centered bracket held on by a 10mm because I tried this install but the screws were rusted out and I cannot get that bracket off for the life of me.
Heard a lot of bad reviews on 4runner Lifestyles grill on longevity of wear and fading. Taco Vinyl seems to have a better reputation with their take on their TRD Pro Grill.
@@T4Rgarage I don't know. But I'd buy the one with the option to have screws secure the lettering. Everyone on Facebook groups either recommend Yota Expedition or Taco Vinyl.
There's bumps for screws for the letters to screw in so they line up so they are not crooked like your first letter T is. Does this company not have the screws for the letters only 3M?
I just got a 2023 trd off road prem. Drunk driver totaled my 2022 trd pro. My raptor lights on old car went into same fuse as yours. However now my fuse panel is ENTIRELY different. Would you mind telling me what the name of the blank slot you plugged into. Got the same fuse connector youre using bc i ordered from 4runnerlifestyle too. Also side note thanks for video. I used your video only to install my own trd pro grille from them.
Had the same question! Looks like there is only 1 empty spot. I wonder if you can use any empty spot? I also thought about using one of the ignition fuses.
Great video Went on 4 runner lifestyle and they say these are not compatible with Limited's When you swapped your bumper did anything change on the upper part of your grill for these to fit? Confused on why it would not fit the Limited 🤔
You keep the very top piece of the 4runner limited bumper. This section is below that and needs to be replaced to Sr5, TRD pro, off-road in order to fit. You can reference my limited to TRD pro conversion video to get a better idea

Why not tap into engine bay fusebox?
Is there a reason you need 2 fuses in the fuse tap since you used an empty space?
