Recently discovered that Robby plays the lead guitar licks with a violin bow on this track. If any of you haven’t heard this find the isolated guitars from the song and give it a listen, it’s super cool.
Eduardo Lebron I don't know men, obviously he is one of the best guitar players in the history but don't have the same respect than Slash and other overrated guitar players :(
Yeah he's a great guitarist from that era because unlike all your Hendrixs (love him) and Pages, Krieger knew how to play for the song. He could easily sit in the back of the song and play some soft rhythms and he knew when to come in with a blazing solo. Plus his style is unlike any other of the genre: Rock and finger-picking flamenco that forays into bluesy psychedelia and even country. Also a great ear for melody and a strong songwriter for the band.
Ya? I've heard that too do you know what key it's in? I read an article today on it....I wish somebody would teach the bands songs I could use a leg up....long live the doors!

Amazing job, I love your SG and the fact you play like Robbie as well no pick
Krieger so underrated
i don't think he is.. he's considered one the greatest of all time... and he is.. but he was not pretentious attention needing "rock star"

Can you tackle Krieger's guitar flourish from The Peking King and The New York Queen from Full Circle?

Men, here in Mexico there is a band that does the doors covers and are incredible. Toy should be the guitar player there
Very nice!
The Doors definitely needed a bassist. That's why they probably didn't do this song live. Could have been a single too.
Sounds great but if you call it a tutorial at least going through it slowly would really help....
lol you can watch krieger play it the descending part is all without moving his hand
Thanks so much!
