Annie seriously has the best taste in sounds. She is so consistent in terms of quality. This is what I was hoping Little Boots last album would've been.

I honestly think that the reason she's so underrated and her two albums have flopped is her name. "Annie". Not Annie+something else, only ANNIE. If you search for "Annie" you're gonna find the 80s film. I still remember when I stayed for about 2 hours trying to find something about her on the internet when I finally found her Wikipedia page.
Her work is not going anywhere because she's putting out stale milktoast and vanilla stuff that's just short of a all-out yawnfest. When she dj's that's a different story.
She isn't underrated anymore, as far as I know. Just isn't oversaturated or hasn't totally sold-out, which is nice. Ricardo - what do you mean when she dj's? She's got a ton of great songs, she & her producers have good taste in what they put together. It's well-executed, 'actual' retrowave that doesn't put you to sleep. "Chewing Gum" nods to George Clinton Atomic Dog and is an immediate classic, they kicked down the doors from the beginning.

It's all about the concept, Mazoso! We all know Bergen is in Norway, but every element of this video is fake - it's purposeful. For example, she was born in Trondheim (not Scotland) and opening countdown chart is also made of unreal artists ;)
