This is probably THE best TTS in a videogame I've ever seen. Like, it changes based on your race, age, gender, and it all sounds realistic enough? Like, Moonbase Alpha will forever be the ACTUAL best TTS but this is really good. Like, at 0:57 the guy with the bat sounds like he's actually pissed off which is wild considering the game has no idea what's supposed to sound like someone's angry or just yelling.
The main problem that it faces is that the TTS service the admins used for this costed a shit ton of money, so it wouldn't even really be a viable thing unless they did some type of subscription to use it.
On the other hand, this is exactly why ss13 needs a tts option, because it's hilarious hearing all this shit on top of the audio insanity that already exists
It would have been funnier if all borgs were given the default Microsoft TTS so we can hear AEIOU and John Madden the way it was meant to be pronounced. “A-EW” “JON mAAAden” “connect the tubes”

well, everything is clear here, this freaking community of nolifers has always hated everyone who pointed out to them that they are based degenerates, so it’s not at all surprising that they banned and anathematized a feature that literally pokes this fact in their face and forces literally 90% of people to ban each round , which leads to empty servers, and better gameplay does not allow them to come up with the same degenerateness...and seriously: this game needs to rethink the gameplay of the rounds and probably from scratch. for many years now, every server has been just a sandbox with no goals and requirements and no need to strive for anything, and there are three types of players: the first is the core who knows how to play and dictates the rules and enters the game like a job (the finished dictators are usually server owners), the second : stupid schoolchildren (you saw them in this video), and evil evil: progamers who know every nuance of the game, who know 1001 ways to kill any psychos and sociopaths that get in their way because of which the movement begins, and who are always banned by the first two groups (because they themselves do not have such skills and believe that the game is not about this, but about chat)...and the worst thing is that any initiative to change this is met with torches and bonfires for a non-believer
