1. Croton plants require rich soil.

Soil - Croton plants require rich soil. I use a combination of organic compost and leaf mould and micro nutrients in my well drained potting mix. These plants require soil that drains well; they do not like to sit in a pool of water though, so the pot also needs to be able to drain as well.

Place croton in a sunny location such as an west facing balcony / area . eastern, southern, directions are also good . If a croton is getting too little light, its newer leaves will be less colorful. Keep the soil evenly moist, but let it dry out between waterings.
Crotons need a lot of light (up to 8 hours of direct sunlight per day). Your croton will do best if you put it in the brightest spot in your house.
To Make your crotons more colourful, Give it plenty of water and fertilizer, then when it is growing vigorously, cut it back severely. You can even lop it off below the bottom leaves, Bender says. It will soon respond with a new crop of colorful foliage. A croton in a container can be maintained as a small, bushy shrub by pinching it back frequently .
Fertiliser
Since this plant prefers slightly acidic soil, use acidifying fertilizers that contain ammonium nitrate, ammonium sulfate, or sulfur-coated urea. Your best target NPK ratios are 3-1-2 and 8-2-10 (nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium).

Please keep coroton plant in early morning sunrays for 3 hours and full day in bright light and don’t repot until you see roots coming out from the pot below , repot in rainy season, check for milibug , always bug attacks this plants

For healthy & long lasting croton plant eight hrs of light is good , in the month of May & June avoid harsh afternoon sunlight .you can keep them indoors only got the day or two , after that first keep them outside in a shady area for a day then settle them as g their original place .Crotons are hard core sunny plants

I was asking if clean and dry tea leaves could be added to the soil .
lncidentally, l never add milk or sugar to tea leaves. l make my Darjeeling tea by seeping the tea leaves in water and waiting for them to sink down, before l strain them. Milk is then added to the liquor tea in the tea cup, as needed.
My house is south facing, on 22nd June I plant three crotons using neem khali vermicompost and garden soilcan I place them under shade south facing where light is for 8 hours but not direct sunlight or can I place them under my Arica plant shade on the east side wall of my house. What fertiliser I’ll use now . I have NPK 19;19:19 and Seaweed liquid , Do I need spray neem oil once in 25 days

South & west is best direction for crotons . Crotons are sun loving plants and require full sun in winters too . East is also good in summers but not in winters , 6-8 hrs of sun is required for crotons especially during winters. If you are growing them in containers then no problem , it’s an easy job to change there place according to season but if you want to grow them In land then south and west is best . NPK 19-19-19 and any micronutrient/ sea weed is good for crotons . Use neem oil if there is sign of any kind of pest infestation in your plants but never plant hibiscus near croton. Because hibiscus are most susceptible to mealy bugs and your croton plant will catch bugs easily .

DAP , Bone meal , aquarium water ,rock phosphate , poultry waste are high in phosphorus . Ammonium-based fertilizers (such as ammonium nitrate, ammonium sulfate, and urea) are acidic. Sulfur-based fertilizers (such as elemental sulfur, iron sulfate, and aluminum sulfate) are also acidic. Natural acidic fertilizers (such as peat moss, compost, and manure) acidify soil as they decompose.

मेरे इस पौधै मे पाउडर जैसे किडे लगते है जिससे पत्ते झडने जैसे हो जाते तो मै क्या करू,मेरे यहां भी ये पौधा होता ही नही,जबकि मैने इन्हे बरामदे मे रखा रहता है जहा 12बजे तक धूप आती है

I have Agromin Max and Seaweed granules + liquid; will any of these two Micronutrient be good? How much in quantity and only in the Potting soil or even later (what frequency)? Secondly, when you say 'Acidic soil' kindly name a few Organic fertilizers that can be added (other than the chemical ones that you have mentioned) their dosage + frequency. Thank you !!
Yes both of them are good . Thrice a year is good . Doses depends upon size of the plant and pot . ( see the instructions written on the back of pack ) Peat moss, compost and manure, moistened, make an acidic soil fertilizer that can be mixed into soil that's too alkaline. Compost that already contains coffee grounds will be even more acidic, as an added benefit to your plants. Read this article to know more about increasing soil pH
