Good Evening Miss Ida, Willa and big Red. I could tell you were excited to put out this video. The knowledge you are learning and better yet using is going to become very valuable to you down the road. And there you are tackling a job that if farmed out, saved you a few $$$. You told me you are one to study the problem or procedure, don't rush into it, plan your moves and that is how you accomplish the task. And there it worked again for you by repairing the mower. Three things also I noticed. (1. Music ... I don't have to tell you what I have for about a year now. (2. You mentioned a trip. (3. And not sure if it was a coincidence. Lady in Red. Ida, you are an absolute gem in my life. I’ve been cracking a snare drum with my left hand over (63) years now. My left thumb movements are severely restricted (painful) as well; I also like to build things. (48) years of my life doing mostly, manual labor; it takes a toll on our bodies. Add being a musician. Your desire to build and fix things is admirable. Much ❤️
Awwww!!! Yeah I have had so many interests in my life, and I have found that I love building and it definitely has taken a toll on my hands! But I’m pacing myself which I never did before and pacing myself really helps. I hope that you are doing well and have a great week!🥰

I have been the single grandpa for years now and you make this old carpenter feel alone and lonely. That's not a bad thing my friend! Aside from being a Lovely Beautiful Woman to look at, you are so talented. Your tenacity cannot be measured as you push through pain and conditions to get what needs to be done right along with what you want to get done.
When I was blown up while in the Army I lost feeling in my right arm and I lost music. I can no longer play guitar, Violin or piano and now that I have gone deaf in my right ear, appreciating music is all I have. Please do not make my mistake, as a young man after the injuries I did not force myself to practice the skills for playing instruments. With flexibility gone and dexterity minimized even holding the bow is impossible as I forget to concentrate and drop it or I do not guide it properly. A violinist will understand, just as with playing the guitar with pick or fingers the concentration I need to even fumble over strings is too much for me now.
When doing carpentry or wood carving the broad movements do not cause me pain obviously but I can tell when the hand cramps as I drop tools or can not let go.
I tell you this as I pray you never give up and appreciate the skills you have learned and work every day.

I love blueberries everyday in my life. Long thin fingers and small thin hands are best for that kind of work. My hands are that way and enabled me to do mechanical work better then most. I love cosmos.

The birdhouse is lovely. Just a suggestion for the next one you might build. A smaller opening prevents invaders from overtaking the nest or stealing eggs or young chicks.
The red dress looks so lovely on you. Willa and all the farm animals are so precious.
Have a good week. Be safe and pray your hand does not give you too much pain. Pain for me is usually worse at night and can affect on sleep.

Hello Ida. I am so proud of you for tackling that lawn mower cable job! I would have hesitated to do that myself for lack of knowledge. The birdhouse turned out really nice! My carpentry skills are severely lacking!😊 I have a lot of trouble with my hands also, I attribute that to a lifetime of manual labor jobs.(I'm not done yet, 5 to 7 years more before I can retire) I think we both may have a touch of Carpal Tunnel. Good evening, Ida Cara! Yet another video I really liked a lot. Showing us a variety of your everyday or maybe every week activities of all the things you do is simply wonderful. From tackling a mower repair to cooking outside; building a house for our feathered friends and educating us all on the use of the Bluetti, I think the way you’ve set up your camper is a very workable arrangement. I personally liken it to the way some small live aboard sailboats are outfitted by their owners. There are many with solar panels charging batteries but this allows you to fully use AC power where needed. Small sailboats have space limitations so air conditioners are not typically found on boats in the smaller size range. But aside from that I think the Bluetti has a place. You’ve got me curious enough now to go sees if any are in use l on the water.

Thank you so much, Joe. And yes, these new power stations are just really cool and the expandable batteries. It just makes everything so easy of course expensive but no headaches that’s for sure. There are definitely headaches that come with building system and these power stations alleviate that so I like that! I can’t wait to show more of what I’ve done to the camper since this video and, so glad you enjoyed the video. It definitely did have a lot of variety. I’ve been bouncing from one part of the farm to the other trying to get stuff done and also happy to build a birdhouse. Finally have a most wonderful rest of the week!☀️🕊️🐕🥰🌸🩷🐴🐴🐈🐈⬛🌼
@@LadyoftheFarm Good evening again, Ida cara! And I did look into who’s using the Bluetti on their boat. There are a number of cruisers who have smaller units for their smaller boats, and larger ones like yours for their 40-50 foot boats. So clearly the use is there as well which I suspected it might be. Why run a had or diesel generator if you can get the same power output or better from solar charges, 😀👍💖

She's back! stole my heart once again with the positive can-do vibe. My new thing is bat houses for the skeeters, and owl houses for the (grr!) mice. I am learning about glucosamine, there's better forms , I am also huffing magnesium pills now, and notice some improvement. Still recovering from an aborted 60 mile fly rod trip on thursday, where I lost my phone, wallet, camera on a riverside Rail trail, but a kind old woman turned it into the cops . But total freakout. There ARE good people out there. Trip from hell, but will try again soon. Oh and the Mark Young Ikea stove has been fully tested and sooo rocks . I added more ideas to it. Use as backup. I'll send you one soon. Once I find 5" stovepipe, better burn , more packable. Free fuel, red oak and fatwood especially .

I have a sim hand injury. It's gone on for yrs. I go to balance on the hand....or get up, and forget, then I can't use my hand for days. I think it's from roofing. I feel ya! It's cool......all the work you've done. I guess it's a sorta flex when we wear our bodies out working!

The damage had been done and wasn't very effective. I was in my Early sixties. If you haven't done a lot earlier by your.
