Great job. I wish more youtube artists would create a written list of steps like you have. It is very helpful. I am going to try to make one for my son. Thanks for sharing this.

Brawo!! Trawiłem elektrolitycznie miedź, mosiądz i srebro i zawsze osiągałem dobre i czyste trawienia. Można skorzystać z FOTOLAKU Positiv 20 i będzie jeszcze łatwiej
Kirill Runz friend, can you tell me what the substance is that you sprinkle on the billet before the first forging and subsequent forging? You always sprinkle this strange substance on the hot billet at your anvil. Is it bismuth?
Kirill Runz you have a bowl of strange material that you sprinkle on the hot billet. I am curious what this material is. Perhaps it is bismuth? Does this material help reduce oxide?
What u could do is , if u want, and what I've seen others do, is put the pieces we've just seen u make, up for sale or auction. If u dont want them. Its beautiful.!
Awesome design and great drawing talent! Nicely laid out and positioned. Just wish that there would have been some audio to explain the voltage, chemicals and copper metal usage. Thank you for sharing, just beautiful!! Have a great day, Heartinstructor!!
The video shows the process of restoration and alteration of the old ax. Drawing a picture on an ax by electrochemical and acid etching. During any work, the relevant safety precautions must be observed. Shown in the video is not a role model. 01:30 I cool the metal with water so that the ax does not lose its hardness (hardening). 02:08 I paint an ax with an alkyd aerosol primer. I put three layers of primer. 02:26 I paint an ax with alkyd aerosol white matte paint. On a white background it is more convenient to draw. 02:40 Sketch of the picture. 02:45 I draw with a simple pencil on a matte film for drawing. 03:30 Turning the film over, I print a trace of a pencil on the paint. 04:40 With a pointed metal rod, I clean off the paint in those places where the metal should be etched. 05:30 In five liters (5l.) Of water I add 350-400 grams of edible salt. 06:13 I connect a copper plate - the Cathode ("-"). Anode ("+") - connected to the ax. The electrochemical process of metal etching takes 10-12 minutes. 07:46 I paint over metal sections with nail polish. This will protect them from acid exposure. 08:43 I pour 5% nitric acid into a cropped plastic bottle. Metal etching occurs in nitric acid for 25-30 minutes. 10:47 Using a solvent, remove the nail polish. 11:04 I grind the metal surface using sandpaper from P600 to P2000. 12:34 To blacken the metal, I use a special liquid for cold burnishing of the metal. 12:56 To completely neutralize the acid, I smear the metal with soap and mine in water. Soap is an alkali. Alkali neutralizes acid. 13:41 I lubricate the ax with machine oil and heat it. Moisture evaporates, and oil penetrates the micropores of the metal and protects it from oxidation. I,m not sure, how and where are conected all wires?? to welding maschine? or to plug or baterry? Could anyone explain, or link some video where is explained ? Thank you...
I’ve tried doing it with the enamel spray paint method. The only problem is when I scratch out my design the paint never leaves a clean edge. How do you fix this?
Quote: "12:34 To blacken the metal, I use a special liquid for cold burnishing of the metal." Is this this same as "cold bluing" or selenium dioxide on firearms barrels?

I don't have nitric acid, can i replace it with fecl3? thank you
Yes. Ferric chloride will be even better in a way. I myself plan to use ferric chloride instead of nitric acid in the future.
@@KirillRunz Thank you for sharing your valuable information
This is way too cool!
Thank you. I appreciate your attention.
Amazing work
Thank you
Would a method very similar to this maybe minus the acid and nail polish work on a small stainless steel necklace piece for small intricate writing?
Yes, it will work. For stainless steel, the electrochemical method of metal etching in a water + salt solution is suitable.
