    I have to say I’m very Happy that you finally took my advice and try it out shine supply products. They are absolutely fantastic my main go to is usually all CarPro products but I find with their ride and shine just has a little bit more durability then Hydrolite 2. Plus when you use ride and shine it literally looks like you just ceramic coated your car. I remember telling you for months to get these products Jeremy from California make some pretty awesome stuff. You should really try their glass cleaner and they’re all purpose cleaner solution diluted one to one. They now have become my go to products at all times.

I mean Sandro, you are doing fantastic job. And I am thankful for your videos as you turned me to CarPro and teach me how to work with my car. Another thing is your work with videos - I love them! And I have never thought what the strange music or no-no, this song is not for this part - I don't how you are deciding which song/music to add and when, but you are doing this simply amasing! What a sweet, old school Honda Civic. Great to them preserved. Funny how our old School HQ's get far more looks and comments than these new age shopping trolley SUV's. Bet your car is much more fun to drive like mine are too. Getting good with the camera work too with that intro. You could work for Peter Jackson if he makes Lord of the Hondas!!!!!!!! LOL. Yeah the market is now getting overcrowded with some very good products. I still like the ones you have used previously and I have got great results from those such as CarPro products including Clearcut, The Last Cut, Scholls S20,LC HDO pads, Shinemate polisher, Concours/NV products including Finesse, all thanks to you and your videos. Learnt so much from you and a few other good detailers I follow. Who would have thought polishing a car could be so adventurest. The Last Cut I have found to be so versatile out of all polishes I have used. Bloody cuts yet finish down using Microfiber. The Astra is shining now. The sacrifice you make working weekends just for our viewing pleasure. Well done.

Shift soap is one of the slickest soaps out there and it foams great! Throttle detail spray is also a great and doesnt streak. Clutch in my opinion is better than Car Pros Reload. I mostly use throttle with a ounce of clutch added after my weekly maintenance wash. Jeremy is doing great things with his products!

    Sandro your video production is top-notch, getting better and better every time! I am starting off as a mobile detailer on the other side of the country and all my favourite products are based on your recommendations in your videos. Mainly a mix of NV and Carpro, keen to test out Wiseguy as a tyre cleaner, I usually use Multi-X diluted 1:5 and works ok on super dirty 4wd tyres, but I am not sure if Wiseguy would prove to be more economical at a 1:2 dilution ratio. Although Wiseguy comes out cheaper per litre at their 3.78L offering than Multi-X at 500ml only offering from Waxit. looking forward to your next video!

    I’d like to start off by saying that your method of detail cleaning cars is still my favorite to watch and mimic when I wash my own vehicles. My question is: why use towels to dry cars? After they’re protected with a hydrophobic coating, wouldn’t it be easier to blow dry them with some sort of filtered air blower? Or does it still not satisfy the level of dry you would like to achieve? Also, what about all the fine details of vehicles that like to hold and hide water? They eventually let it drip down onto your clean paint which is something that would seem to be fixed with a method of blow drying.

    Nice update to Cquartz Lite. It has been doing well for me at 6 months on my daily driver. Also nice that you got to try some shine supply products. Shift is good and also eco friendly to the planet.
    I agree with you on Throttle. I spoke with Jeremy at Shine Supply and Throttle does not leave anything at all on the surface besides gloss. I have not noticed a change in hydrophobic behavior on any coating. It is funny you mention it as a drying aid, that is one characteristic that I don't like about it. It gets streaky and hard to work with. It could be different with the recent updated formula that was released a couple months ago.

    Sandro what would you say is the return on investment in regards to applying more than 1 coat of UK 3.0 on paint? Is the second coat going to bond to the first coat as well as the first coat bonds to the paint? What are your thoughts on applying 3.0 to the windshield and or side windows? Not sure if you have experience with FORTE which is carpro's designated windshield coating and whether this truly is a step ahead in terms of glass applications. I feel like you have answered these questions in videos but can't recall your exact recommendations. Thanks in advance and keep the videos coming! Top notch quality as always!

    CQuartz lite is an excellent "light" coating !. For a vehicle that sleeps in the garage, never goes out in rain, washing with ph-neutral shampoo, maintenance with quik detailer infused with Sio2, I think it can last for 1 and a half or 2 years!?. What do you think?
    (we get along well, with adequate preparation "chemical decontamination, mechanical decontamination, compound, polish, ipa ... maintenance ...), carpro speaks of 6 months +, for the most extreme cases I think.

If they released a smaller bottle 1/8th the size for 1/3 of the price I would try it but realistically if I'm going to spend $80 I might as well just get the normal version.

    • @CarCraftAutoDetailing
      @CarCraftAutoDetailing 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There’s no set of rules you have to follow, but generally you’d want to use a quick detailer that doesn’t so much mask or inhibit the coating from performing as good as it should, but rather match its hydrophobic nature or let it still shine through. I’m not super experienced with Adam’s products but if they have a ceramic or SiO2 based quick detailer that may be a good option, and yes you can also use Reload every couple of months or so.

      I haven’t removed the coating but I’ve tested a bunch on products over the coating since, so it’s hard to judge just how long it lasted on its own. All I say is that 12mths seems very realistic as an average duration but on something like a garaged weekender I’d expect it to last twice as long.

    • @thinkforyourself5672

      He's spot on bro. A properly maintained daily driver, you can get 12 months no problem. A daily driver not being maintained and taken through touchless or brushed cat washes and I've seen it fail in 6 months. I can't speak on garage kept vehicles because I have only applied longer lasting coatings on those. My personal opinion is the prep work for me is the same for any legit coating. Decon, clay bar, compound / Polish. So I would apply a longer lasting coating from the start if you're going to maintain it. No reason to go through all that work and then have to reapply it every year when there are coatings you can get much longer out of. I have a customer who gets his car polished every year no matter what. In his case Cquartz lite makes sense since it's being removed regardless. For anyone else, start with a longer term coating. The prep work part sucks lol.
